- From $50.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.6Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 305 reviewsWe loved our stay here, in the heart of a charming little town. The house is authentic and full of character, and the host very friendly. It was good to get away from the overly touristic places and unwind in this beautiful place. Say hello to the little big turtle for us.Guest review byLauraAustria

Great area lots of places to eat, Yumbo centre for people watching & a drink. Everywhere was very clean & everyone welcoming. We went also to Puerto Mogan, lovely village worth the trip, and up into the mountains from Madpolomas to Tejeda very narrow roads.... also recommend the Aquarium at Las Palmas, great day outGuest review byNicoleSpain - 6.0
Ingenio has good road links to all parts of the Island.
Ingenio has good road links to all parts of the Island. A car is recommended although bus services are very well connected with all parts of the island and a direct connection with the Airport. Basic shops, pharmacy, supermarkets, takeaway outlets are on the Main Street. Petrol stations and Bank. It does lack any kind of nightlife venues. It is not a typical tourist town.Guest review byFreddy-BUnited Kingdom - 6.0

There are no typical old towns on the island of Gran Canaria (except Telde, Las Palmas and small Teror). Aguimes also does not have an old town where you can walk for a long time. But the houses are nice and well-kept - as are the streets. An ideal place as a base for exploring the south-eastern part of the island.Guest review byPiotrPoland - 10.0

This area is so perfect for hiking, relaxing and experiencing peaceful nature. At this time of year the mountains are filled with flowers. It just makes me feel glad to be alive, breathing mountain air and to be surrounded by unspoilt nature. I hiked circular route 8, Roque Vela, and route 3 from Cuevas Blancas back to El Rincón. I cooked in the casa because I enjoyed relaxing evenings there. It was really easy to get there by guagua. 80 Santa Catalina to Telde, then 13 to El Rincon.Guest review byGeraldineSpain - 10.0

Santa Lucia is a great base. 4 restaurants, all with a different atmosphere, a decent shop. You probably do want a car, but with a car it's pretty easy to get to the beach (about half an hour), or to most of the nice hikes around Gran Canaria within an hour's drive at most.Guest review byJackNetherlands - 8.0

Great location, we had a great time, but there are differences between the various villas offered at Par 4 If you like a quiet place but still being close to the buzz of Maspalomas or Playa de Ingles then this place will be perfect for you.Guest review byGlobetrotter BerndGermany - 8.0

The old town is very beautiful (but quiet) and there are nice walks to be taken for those who like that, always something new to see. It's almost free of tourists (except me) and relaxed, the groceries have decent hours, and there are good restaurants and a gourmet shop by the church that towers over the town. More central there are buses going wherever you like, regular services. Close to the airport.Guest review byAnnaIceland - 8.0
Good location in the old town.
Good location in the old town. Interesting and friendly little town. Bistros/Bars close by. Good atmosphere. Quite close to the bus station. No Wi-Fi working. Bed was too short with an old mattress. Staff member was helpful.Guest review byGerIreland - 6.0
Property is in desperate need of refurbishment and repair.
Property is in desperate need of refurbishment and repair. If the property was up to scratch, the holiday would have been worth the money, which was, frankly, very expensive. Beautiful views and peace and quiet and having a games room saved the day. We made the most of it, and enjoyed our holiday despite the failings of the property.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Santa Lucia is a small village with minimal facilities; two small supermarkets and a small number of places to eat but we found it quite adequate. The facilities aimed at the local population are much more interesting than those aimed at tourists. The bar next to the artinasal bakers provide good honest basic food at a reasonable cost. The bakers make very interesting local breads, The maize flour rolls are particularly worth tracking down.Guest review byJDAF1955United Kingdom
