Santiago is a beautiful city.
Santiago is a beautiful city. It's old center town is magical, straight out of a story book from the middle ages. Getting around the old town is easy once you get used to it. However, leave your car in the underground parking areas, since the town is almost fully pedestrian.Guest review byJoseUnited States - 10.0
We had no preconceived idea of what Bilbao would be like.
We had no preconceived idea of what Bilbao would be like. Only went to see the Guggenheim etc but was amazed at the cafes, bars, pastry shops, fashionable people, clothing stores. Would love to go back for another stay!Guest review byTom - 10.0
This is a lovely place with lots of walking and eating.
This is a lovely place with lots of walking and eating. The food was reasonably to go on its own. The main beach is spectacular and rated as one of the best in the world. We went up both hills at either end of the bay (one via funicular). Great views. We did not get the best weather but that did not stop us having a great timeGuest review byLaurenceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Santander is a popular resort for mainly Spanish visitors.
Santander is a popular resort for mainly Spanish visitors. It's an attractive city with plenty to see and do. It's family friendly too. It's easy to get to nearby Bilbao, or to Potes in the mountains. There are fast and frequent coach services all over the region. It may not attract A list celebrities or have the glamour of San Sebastian, but it has plenty of appeal if you are looking for a sun and sea holiday, and pinxtos too!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
I read about Oviedo in a British newspaper.
I read about Oviedo in a British newspaper. It is in an area of Northern Spain that is rich in history and architecture but is not frequented by tourist from abroad. Not many spoke English, but that is a good thing, showing that the area is not primarily populated by local residents. I particularly enjoyed visiting the Cathedral, Archaeological Museum, Art Museum and a ninth century church. The Old Town is full of old buildings that are still in use and is very pleasant to stroll around in.Guest review byPiersUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired.
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 8.0

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.Guest review byJuan - 10.0
This resort in Asturias was unknown to us.
This resort in Asturias was unknown to us. A wonderful traditional holiday town, which has been welcoming guests for well more than a century. The ambiance was great, the walks and beaches fantastic and the restaurants and bars excellent. To be recommended.Guest review byNigelFrance - 10.0
Beautiful historic buildings on the historic pilgrim way.
Beautiful historic buildings on the historic pilgrim way. Dining out was on the expensive side. Three days would have been about right as you can see most of museums within that timeframe. Poor public transport so a car is a must.Guest review byGerardUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The hotel was right on the harbour so it was great to have look around the boats ect. A short walk uphill into the town and you find plenty of bars and good restaurants. If you dont fancy the walk into town there are 3 good fish restaurants on or around the harbour. If you have a push bike there's plenty to explore like the lighthouse ect.Guest review bykevinUnited Kingdom
