Playa Amadores is right in front of the place, cca 100 meters walk only. The Club is a Hotel is consisting of separate apartments, which are really well equipped in an almost luxurious style. Super big double bed, spacious terrace with a great view to the ocean equipped with sunbeds, parasol, rattan garden furniture, modern fully equipped kitchen. There is a really good restaurant on site called Aqui if I’m not mistaken. It offers quality food at a reasonable price. The staff is nice, they were really helpful. Water in 5 liter bottles is available at the reception for a minimal amount as the tap water’s taste is not the best on the island. The area is perfect for all ages It is desired by adults for the wonderful view it offers. The long walks with the different terraces that invite you are a dream. The important thing is that the beach is public everywhere and is not private. Accommodations have very good prices. 4-star hotels are around 120 euros per night. For young people there is nightlife with parties on the seashore. Food is for all tastes. - there are higher prices for quality food as well as lower prices. You must visit la carmencita del puerto restaurant in matagorda, wonderful place, delicious food unlike anything else on the island. The oasis cocktail and tapas bar on the seafront in Matagorda is also delightful. Tasty high quality tapas and amazing cocktails. Just a 5 minute taxi ride from the main strip. Since we last visited 15 years ago you can certainly see some changes. The part pedestrianisation of the high street is a bonus, as you move away from the Music Sq. end and walk in the oposite direction up the High St. there have been improvements in the shops and small shopping centres available which gives the main street a positive vibe. Santa Cruz de Tenerife doesn’t have much of nightlife, almost everything was closed at 21:30-22:00 and there were no people outside either we were on the center of the town or near the plaza. BUT, The island in general is worth it. If you can get outside and go see other towns - villages, it is definitely worth it and be prepared for breathtaking sights, views and amazing monuments. There are a lot sightseeings worth visiting, but Santa Cruz de Tenerife on its own is just not worth it that much (and the parking there is literally impossible)Guest review bykostastsoukkGreece - 10.0

Playa Blanca is our favourite holiday destination! We have been going for many years and have seen all the changes over the years! As we are getting older, we like to stay central, near to everything! We always have a hire car ( picked up from the airport when we arrive and dropped off when we return, which we highly recommend doing ) for going further afield !!
