This hotel was the best I had stayed in Spain. The room with a jacuzzi bathtub was superb. The hotel provided a gym room, which has a treadmill, cycling, weights, and other physical exercise equipment. I used the gym, and it was more than I expected because the exercise equipment was of superior quality. The Jacuzzi bathtub with pleasant hot water gave me energetic relaxation!

The cabins are well designed. The place is comfortable and clean. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Dinner was excellent, home made. We ordered salad, fried calamari and grilled fish. Dessert was devine. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat breakfast at the cabin. We wanted to resume our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela early and breakfast is offered by 9:00am. I highly recommend the place.

Exceptional - location, service, quality, comfort, value, historical story and everything intangible. Once dark, just a few steps to the square at the exit side of the Cathredral to observe the Pilgrim shadow… learn about the love story! ;) Stay with lots of time to relax and walk another 10,000 steps within the Parador (if you are a Pilgrim, this time on cushioned carpet!)

A Coruña is a lovely vibrant city with very little traffic through the centre. Lovely old town with great bars, cafes and restaurants. Also has lots of small independent shops selling nice jewellery along with the main high street stores nearby. You can walk everywhere in the city. It also feels really authentically Spanish. The coastal walk out to Hercules Tower is fabulous and the city is with walking distance of a number of nice beaches

Pretty city with lovely river walks and the old town was gorgeous. Beautiful churches and basilicas which were free to visit. The restaurants were excellent and a wide range of cuisines. It was a bit hectic driving around town and parking on the street was difficult. However, there were many inexpensive carparks available. The people were friendly and learning a little Spanish before visiting this region, will go a long way.

I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.

It was amazing to arrive in Portomarin and dip my feet in the river. It was the best foot spa experience I have ever had. Great spot to rest when walking the Camino from Sarria.
