- From $227.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,732 reviewsWe stayed here during a major wind and rain storm. The waves outside our window were amazing. Even though the hotel is on the inlet and not directly on the Atlantic Ocean, the view of the water was stunning. The room was large and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, especially in the midst of the storm. There were several restaurants just 2km away in a picturesque little fishing village. Galicia Spain is a seldom visited secret and the Isla de la Toja is magical.Guest review byWander'n StarUnited States
- From $178.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 248 reviewsThe cabins are well designed. The place is comfortable and clean. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Dinner was excellent, home made. We ordered salad, fried calamari and grilled fish. Dessert was devine. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat breakfast at the cabin. We wanted to resume our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela early and breakfast is offered by 9:00am. I highly recommend the place.Guest review byMaritzaUnited States

Once dark, just a few steps to the square at the exit side of the Cathredral to observe the Pilgrim shadow… learn about the love story! ;) Stay with lots of time to relax and walk another 10,000 steps within the Parador (if you are a Pilgrim, this time on cushioned carpet!)Guest review bychengCanada

Santiago is a beautiful city.
Santiago is a beautiful city. It's old center town is magical, straight out of a story book from the middle ages. Getting around the old town is easy once you get used to it. However, leave your car in the underground parking areas, since the town is almost fully pedestrian.Guest review byJoseUnited States - 10.0
Vigo is very clean and open.
Vigo is very clean and open. City has good shopping and food. The area close to the water has a few streets that are used as urinals at night with a strong odor of urine. In other parts of the city it was very clean.Guest review byrobert - 10.0
A Coruna is a lovely city, small and very walkable.
A Coruna is a lovely city, small and very walkable. We walked everywhere, no need for taxis (which there are!) or even the local buses. There is no 'one' item of outstanding "beauty" or "must visit" museum etc but overall the city has a feeling of an attractive working Spanish port city, with an old town area and some interesting architectural features. Lovely narrow lanes filled with bars and cafes full of families and vibrant groups of locals. Not a lot of tourists seemed to be there in early September especially not english-speaking tourists which, if honest, we enjoyed. The feeling is authentic everyday Spanish city living. There are some great beaches (we didn't use them but locals did), there are quick connections to Santiago de Compostela if you want to do a visit there. The walks around the headlands give great views of the city and the coast beyond. Well worth a visit. We went for a wedding there which was so much fun and the food; OMG! Best food at at wedding we've ever had! In fact the food overall eating out was so good, tapas eating is the way to go as you work your way around the city (which is why we stocked up on fruit & yogurt for our breakfasts). Go! Enjoy!Guest review byAilbheIreland - 10.0

Pretty city with lovely river walks and the old town was gorgeous. Beautiful churches and basilicas which were free to visit. The restaurants were excellent and a wide range of cuisines. It was a bit hectic driving around town and parking on the street was difficult. However, there were many inexpensive carparks available. The people were friendly and learning a little Spanish before visiting this region, will go a long way.Guest review byBelindaAustralia - 10.0
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired.
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 10.0

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.Guest review byJuan - 10.0

It was amazing to arrive in Portomarin and dip my feet in the river. It was the best foot spa experience I have ever had. Great spot to rest when walking the Camino from Sarria. There was a couple of people singing and playing a guitar under a bridge and that made the whole experience even more romantic.Guest review byMaryIreland
