- From $178.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,159 reviewsMy room had great views and was very comfortable. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the views were fantastic. I felt breakfast had less variety and than other hotels we stayed at during our trip. The breakfast was not included and the per person price for breakfast was high. There was a coffee maker that was quite tricky to work. After spending 15 minutes to get 1/2 cup of coffee the waitress brought a pot of coffee to the table. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.Guest review byAnneUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 290 reviewsPerfectly equipped kitchen, rooftop with a breathtaking view over the sea, tenerife, teide and the pescante de Hermigua! Comfortable bed, modern furniture and everything was perfectly clean Quite area with only the sounds of the ocean at night Last but not least communication was super easy, the host was super friendly and helpful, always stayed in contact and even brought us bananas! :) One of our most favorite accommodations ever! 12/10 :)Guest review byPaulGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 159 reviewsWe liked the location on one of our favorite Canary Islands. The scale and atmosphere of the area is low key, which we look for in our travels. The climate on this side of the island was reliably warm and sunny and the view from our balcony was spectacular! Monica and Isabel were very attentive and helpful….and they both could speak English which was appreciated from us Americans. We hope to return.Guest review byMichaelUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 348 reviewsLocation and the beautiful seaside town with great restaurants nearby. The beds and linen were superb. Spacious bathroom and great balcony. The Mountain View is really a car park view. A relaxed armchair in the salon would be a bonus. However the chairs on the airy corridor were ideal reading spots. Without doubt this friendly hotel is blessed with warm and friendly staff.Guest review byColm LouisIreland
- From $93.82 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 738 reviewsNice hotel in the city centre, the room was smaller but had everything you needed (including a fridge and hairdryer). For stays of fewer nights I think it is more than enough. We were very surprised by the breakfast, buffet style with a relatively large selection (we missed the vegetable a bit), all very tasty.Guest review byLucieCzech Republic

Valle Gran Rey is very beautiful situated at the bottom of a very steep valley with spectacular scenery. You have to be able to cope with very windy mountain roads with sheer drops! It is dominated with German travellers and has multiple good restaurants at very friendly prices.Guest review byRosemary - 10.0
Great for walking around and getting good views.
Great for walking around and getting good views. A viewpoint near the parador is worth the uphill walk. Also good to explore the beach and viewpoint near the port. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants along side streets and near the main square. Great atmosphere during the Three Kings/Epiphany festival.Guest review byKathryn - 10.0

It’s a beautiful village nestled in the mountains. It’s close to the national park and if you like hiking then it’s ideal but I’d suggest having a car as the local bus timetable is very confusing and not very frequent.Guest review byAnitaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It is a quiet and appealing little town with a good choice of places to eat and drink. A good baker and three supermarkets to choose from. Buses (cheap) and the excellent Fred Olsen Express ferry service can be used to travel to San Sebastian, Valle Gran Rey, etc.Guest review bygreatwhiterabbitUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely little village out of the way!
Lovely little village out of the way! 25min drive down from the main road with spectacular views on the way down! Not a lot in the village but a small beach but if you want tranquility it's perfect! Lovely restaurant on the beach that serves the most amazing fish and seafood as very reasonable prices!Guest review bymorenaSpain - 8.0
The scenery is outstandingly breath taking.
The scenery is outstandingly breath taking. The ride into the area and leaving is awesome. there are some nice places to eat and mini market shops . We chose a restaurant Esperanto by the Port , it is owned by a couple from Germany. The husband being the Chef. The food was excellent and highly recommend a visit.Guest review byGarySpain - 10.0

We went to watch the start of this years Atlantic Row as I had taken part in it 2 years ago and we were seeing the crew who bought our boat off on their challenge. As always San Sebastian was delightful and having been there a few times over the years we were able to visit all of our old haunts just before Christmas which was excellent.Guest review byGarreth MurrellUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Everywhere was shut we arrived on 28 June but apparently all the local restaurants close during June for their annual vacation we should have been told this there was absolutely nowhere to eat our apartment was not accessible as my husband has mobility problems he is 77 years old we were expecting to use the Infinity pool which was a plunge pool with approx 6 inches of filthy gree water photo includedGuest review byBoughtflower - 10.0

If you want nightlife and action, this is not the place for you. A gentle sea side location with enough restaurants to keep you entertained in the food department. Beach is black sand and pebble. Gentle shallow water. There are shops to buyy provisions (at least 2 supermarkets) and a post office but not much else in terms of shops. Nice hand made jewellery shop (although a little pricey) Ideal base location for touring the islandGuest review byIan in TelfordUnited Kingdom
