Playa Amadores is right in front of the place, cca 100 meters walk only. The Club is a Hotel is consisting of separate apartments, which are really well equipped in an almost luxurious style. Super big double bed, spacious terrace with a great view to the ocean equipped with sunbeds, parasol, rattan garden furniture, modern fully equipped kitchen. There is a really good restaurant on site called Aqui if I’m not mistaken. It offers quality food at a reasonable price. The staff is nice, they were really helpful. Water in 5 liter bottles is available at the reception for a minimal amount as the tap water’s taste is not the best on the island. Love Playa del Ingles, have been going here for about 25 years. If you want nightlife it is all there with plenty of restaurants and bars. If you just want a quiet holiday it is perfect for that too. Very nice town for family holiday, you can find all you want, hotels, beaches, restaurants, markets, palms, there are interesting places close to town, like Palmitos Park, harbour in Puerto Rico, Poema del Mar in Las Palmas. I first visited Puerto Rico when I was 19 ....I am now 61 and have been a regular visitor throughout. In fact I lived there for 12 years and owned an apartment for 15 years. Possibly my opinion is biased, but having visited all the other Canarian islands, I would say that the area between Melanores and Mogan offers most things to most people, and as Puerto Rico is the centre of that area, its quite simply a great place to base your holiday - I for one will always return !Guest review bymarkUnited Kingdom - 8.0

This is a quiet, relaxing and friendly town.
This is a quiet, relaxing and friendly town. There is a wide variety of restauants with friendly staff and also a very good array of shops. The town features dining on the beachfront and in the harbour area. There are lots of couples and young families. It is not rowdy or noisy. There is a fabulous viewing point above the town and a very well connected public bus system. It is an hour from the airport and costs just under 7 euro one way. The bus stops are clearly marked on arrival in Las Palmas airport and the small bus station is just five minutes walk from the beach in Peurto de Mogan.Guest review byLeeUnited Kingdom - 2.0
