An island of surprises
Even though it's famous for fantastic clubbing, Ibiza is so much more and makes a surprisingly good family destination. Booking.com’s range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Ibiza cover all types of vacation. The main nightlife is centered around San Antonio, where superclubs Es Paradis and Eden only kick off after midnight. Playa d’en Bossa also has amazing clubs including Space, which attracts big-name DJs year after year. Nearby Ibiza Town (or Eivissa) is the island’s capital, and although it has its fair share of bars and restaurants, the feel is more laid back. The cobbled streets in its walled Old Town, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, provide some shade from the Spanish sun. Along the coast is Santa Eulalia del Rio, a much more exclusive resort where the marina is lined with expensive yachts. However, the best family hotels in Ibiza are in northern resorts like Portinatx and Port de San Miguel. Here, crystal-clear waters lap sandy beaches hidden in rocky coves. The scenery is simply stunning and the vibe couldn’t be more different from down south. Inland, Ibiza still retains much of its original character. Renting a bike is a great way to explore sleepy villages like Santa Agnès and San Rafael, though be warned: some of the terrain can be tricky!

I experienced the stay in the middle of the castle, among olive and lemon trees with the view over the old city and port; resting in the area of the cute modern pool area with the best Dalt Villa bubbles cocktail; the breakfast satisfied my gourmand tastes; most important I felt taken care off by the staff that is so friendly and professional - and if i was lost or needed help in any area they were on whatsap 24/7. They even tried to help me in Spanish with the issue of my stay in the next hotel (they didn't have availability for a stay longer than 5-6 nights when i decided to stay longer in Ibiza). The room was so nice and comfortable. Also there is a service to bring hotel guests up to the hotel from the meeting point down the city - anytime needed, both up and down. Most outstanding was the staff , especially the Front Office Manager - Goncalo Correia , who went out of his way to ensure that our stay was perfect in every single matter. He was extremely accommodating and helpful to our many needs including helping us bring and find last minute accommodations to an additional 5-6 friends who wanted to move to this hotel after they heard all the good things about it from us. His team was helpful and kind and supportive for things we needed as well. We even moved to the suite for the second half of our stay and it was large and fantastic :) highly recommended . Sunset at Cafe der Mar or Cafe Mambo, 15min bus ride to beautiful Cala Salada beach, lots of great restaurants and cafes around. You can do both party or relaxing. TAPAS IBIZA was a great place to eat nice tapas and delicious sangria. UNICA Bakery & Breakfast is my favourite place for breakfast/brunch. Staying in Playa d'en Bossa is great if your idea is to go clubbing and bars at night. It makes it easier to everything walking distance. The town is peaceful, as long as you don’t stay right in the center. There are plenty of shops around, including a Lidl where you can find everything you need for a longer stay. Within just 8 kilometers you’ll find several truly amazing beaches. Another highlight are the beautiful sunsets, which can be admired perfectly from this side of the island. Santa Eularia is quiet for Ibiza, full of restaurants with a great harbour. There is no crazy strip or runs of bars giving it a laid back feel. The beach is long and sandy and usually the sea is calm. There are some excellent walks that can easily taken from town around the coast in both directions. Close to the ferry terminal, and also close to transportation to the old town. Excellent location. 15/20 minutes to Old town, 40 minutes to San Antonio and loads of really lovely up scale restaurants and affordable family Restaurants all in facility 2 supermarkets on the beach and one at the top of the town €25 for two sun beds and umbrella on the beach, sunbed man comes around to pay about 11am. The town is quite small but a number of lovely restaurants. It was a peaceful place to just chill out. We have been to other parts of the Island but this is definitely a place to just forget about everything. Having said that plenty to do with beach sports, or hiring boats or boat trips.
