Haria is a charming little village, which has the feel of an oasis in the desert. The hotel is a lovingly restored villa, with character and a peaceful ambience, conveniently located with a separate parking space. The breakfast is served like a menu, with starters (yoghurt, fresh fruits, muesli), followed by a choice of different types of toasts (with salmon, avocado, nuts, cheeses) and eggs, followed by a choice of cake as and homemade orange marmelade. beautiful hotel, really spacious and clean with lots of nice touches. The staff and service were exceptional and we had a brilliant stay. there was always space by the pool and there’s direct access to the beach too. It was really peaceful and I also liked the range of free classes on offer, including yoga and Pilates. would definitely return and recommend to others.

From the welcome I received from reception and the bell boy (that's what he called himself) to the chocolates left on my bed every evening, I thought the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. It was my birthday and I didn't tell them and they surprised me with a bottle of cava and cake. I loved my room. it was so quiet and peaceful. It was like an oasis. I was there off peak so I don't know what my experience would be like at peak times. The floral smells from the gardens were amazing. Everywhere someone was cleaning and working. Breakfast was amazing. The choice superb. One of the reviews I read before staying here said the evening meals were limited so I didn't choose half board. However, I did use the restaurant one evening and OMG! the quality of food was amazing. The price brilliant. I ate stuff I'd never tried before. I understood what the review meant in that it's not the typical functional spread with everything laid out. There's lots of stuff laid out but you get to choose the starter and the main in addition to this from about 3 different choices a day from a menu which is then made to order and then brought to you. I loved it. My steak was divine. But I like food that's been prepared with extra detail and flair and is an experience to eat over functional style self-service eating. And you can eat those dishes how many times you want. If you're looking for Indian or Chinese takeaway type food and burgers and chips and tapas etc there are plenty of those places at Playa del Carmen which is 35 min walk away. I went and ate at a lavish looking restaurant on the strip that a friend recommended and paid double for okay food. I actually regretted leaving the hotel! If you're looking for a secluded stay where you're treated like royalty and fine dining come here. I was given five star treatment at a five star boutique hotel.

    Lovely welcome at this beautiful hotel as soon as we arrived. This was our 2nd time here and we hope to return again. It has such a lovely relaxing feel to the place. Our room was spacious and comfortable, nice quiet air con which was badly needed when we were there. You can't hear noise from any other rooms so we slept really well every night. The breakfast in the morning has plenty of choice to suit everyone, both hot & cold food is fresh and plentiful. Pool is lovely and a perfect temperature. People still get up at crazy hours to put their towels on seats around the pool but there really is no need as they are plentiful and you will get one at any time of the day, staff also keep an eye that towels are not left with no-one on them for hours which is great. The location is perfect for us. A short taxi journey to old town etc but just beside the hotel there are plenty of shops, restaurants & bars and the beach is just across the road and is just beautiful so you don't need to go to far for anything. It's a very safe area to go on nice long walks at any time of the day/night. The airport is a short 10min taxi journey away so very handy to get to. Can't say enough good things about this place and will hopefully be returning again soon.

    We really enjoyed the location near Faro Park. It’s away from the busy centre of Playa Blanca, but still very convenient with a hire car, a short walk to the bus route, or a quick taxi ride to the town and Rubicón Marina. The villa is also close to the beautiful coastal walkway from the lighthouse to the marina, which was a real highlight and made for a lovely daily walk. The facilities were excellent, especially the private pool, outdoor BBQ area, and the lovely rooftop terrace with sea views. Inside, the villa was very well equipped and comfortable, and the host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions

    Alava Suites is a professionally designed and run place where you can slow down at a high level of comfort. Teguise is easily accessible by car (restaurants couple of minutes away). The breakfast menu is creatively selected and special, preprared from fresh and tasty ingredients. The stuff is extremely friendly and professional.     You must visit la carmencita del puerto restaurant in matagorda, wonderful place, delicious food unlike anything else on the island. The oasis cocktail and tapas bar on the seafront in Matagorda is also delightful. Tasty high quality tapas and amazing cocktails. Just a 5 minute taxi ride from the main strip. La Capri pizza restaurant in puerto del carmen is also lovely. The pasta dishes are varied and authentic and the pizza is excellent.

    Playa Blanca is our favourite holiday destination! We have been going for many years and have seen all the changes over the years! As we are getting older, we like to stay central, near to everything! We always have a hire car ( picked up from the airport when we arrive and dropped off when we return, which we highly recommend doing ) for going further afield !! We go to a variety of restaurants, there are so many good ones you can be spoiled for choice!

    Only a short trip from the airport, that is why we have chosen this resort last half a dozen times. The restaurant staff are always friendly, The same in the shops. When we started to visit Lanzarote we were much younger and visited all the main places to go. Now we happy to just enjoy the lovely beaches and walks. The steak houses and Chinese restaurants are superb. Easy to walk to where you need to go, if you able.

    The church and restaurants are very close. La minoca restaurant is very good, prices and quality. The cooker Manny is the best, one of the owners is very gentil and cuban waitress are very diligents. Good vibe and environment over there. This restaurant is in San Gines Charco. Ask for a cuban "mojito" and you will remember me. Good luck.

    Playa Honda is quiet, and more residential, full of lovely locals.... beautiful walks along the beach front, easy access to shops, buses, restaurants etc... not a lot of tourists, so you can appreciate the culture more. Just love it. We enjoy walking, so a nice 40 minute walk takes you into Arrecife, or you can get a bus into Costa Teguise or Matagorda, hire a bike and cycle along the path both ways.... La Opera, Goliath's, Bechamell restaurants are lovely, good prices and lots of choice. It really is a piece of heaven on earth in Playa Honda.

    A small town with plenty of people around using the facilities for their daily life. Not a lot of choice of places to eat but enough the fakily run Spanish Taverna was amazing this I would recommend the best value ever and so friendly. Shut on a Sunday so you are warned lol!!!

    Where we stayed in Yaiza was very quiet. A great location for a large group like ours but a must is to have a hire car to enable you to travel freely in and out of more lively areas around the island.

    I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-seasony and quiet. Some of the cafes I had wanted to try were closed until the end of March. Still, a small handful of good restaurants, and easy access by road to the other parts of the island, so it was a good base to explore from. I recommend Ikarus for fresh fish, Boutique del pan-San Rafael for coffee, and the Creperia for cheap/cheerful tapas and drinks outside with music. I found the locals all very friendly.

    very quiet, everything shut by 10pm, we like a bit of late nioght drinks or music when on holiday, but we also like relaxation and quiet which it was. Restaurants superb, not as cheap as surrounding area's but lovely
