I originally booked a different hotel, but after reading reviews I decided to change to Copaiba and I have no regrets. The room was modern, clean, and the staff was very nice. I really enjoyed the long brunch/breakfast. The location is close to the beach and various restaurants. The area is very German, so just be prepared for that (I personally don't care and it still surprised me).

We had a fabulous welcome from the lovely staff. The hotel is beautiful. Parking was easy and safe in the hotels secure car park. Our room was perfect. We booked in for evening meal in the restaurant which and it was lovely to see so many people in there during february! The breakfast was the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen. I would return in a heartbeat.

A firm favorite among sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. Palma, the enchanting capital, has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbor, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport shuttle rides. On the north side of the island, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana range features amazing mountain lakes. A trip to its highest peak, Puig Major, will provide breathtaking views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts include Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighboring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east, Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters.     Even though I have been visiting Mallorca for over 5 decades, never before have I booked to stay in Palma itself for more than a couple of nights. This year Palma was our base. It is a beautiful city, so easy to navigate with so much to see. Bars, restaurants, shops and attractions seem to be down every cobbled alleyway. Mallorca also has a fantastic bus service, so Palma is a great base for visiting other towns around the island. There is something for everyone, regardless of age. The beach within walking distance, as is the marina, the castle, the cathedral, museums and shops. Bars and restaurants on every corner. Go eat at Cappuccino, great gazpacho & Bruschetta de pan de cristal con tomate, jamon for a light lunch. Visit the unassuming Calixto restaurant close to Plaça Major, for the best paella. Have drinks in Plaça Major and people watch. Brunchit for brunch and pastries and coffee from Fika Farina. A fabulous city.

    Playa de Palma is beautiful with a beautiful beach and many places to find a drink or meal. The only major drawback is that the hotel feels more like a “mini Germany,” since it’s a very popular holiday spot for German travelers. If you’re hoping for something that feels more local, just keep that in mind.

    I had three days of holiday, and I just wanted to go to the warm sea and take my child to the water park. That's why I chose El Arenal, because it's quite close to the airport and the water park, and I didn't have to waste time travelling. The main advantage of the city is, of course, the sea. But you have to be very careful here. I saw local thieves trying to steal things from holidaymakers at the sea or goods from shops more than once. Another unpleasant thing was that there was a persistent smell of urine in the narrow streets near the promenade, even though the streets were washed by the owners of shops and cafes. But this is most likely the fault of tourists who walked around at night.

    Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.

    The neighborhood of the hotel is quite calm and not so loud as it resides the north part of playa de Palma. the south part is more busy with loud tourist, but at midnight all loud public music is turned off.

    Typical Spanish tourist town.

    Typical Spanish tourist town. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, some with live music. Would of like it to be a bit more boutique'y and a little less Spanish/British bucket and spade. So not a lot to see, unless you like these very typical Spanish beach resorts. But overall good for a short break.

    It really depends what you want from your vacation. I would stay again, but now I know what to expect. It doesn’t have that “local” feel, it is much more touristic. But it’s a good and affordable base to explore other areas of Mallorca. I would definitely recommend for families and also for people who enjoy night live. If you’re not too fussed by the surroundings and just want an area to sleep, but venture to other places, then this is also definitely a good area

    Cala d'Or is an OK resort.Good for young children . No authentic Spanish influence, very Brits or German abroad. Sorry to say a bit tacky and parts of the resort needs renovating and cleaning up.

    I enjoyed Cala Millor, it’s a pleasant area, but if your goal is to explore the island and visit other places, I would recommend staying somewhere more central. Cala Millor is quite far from most of the main attractions, including other beautiful beaches, which makes travelling around tiring and time-consuming.
