The hotel is newly renovated and therefore very modern and well equipped. The brunch until 13:30 is amazing, offering even soy and oat milk. Staff is always with a smile on the face and happy to help with anything. I was working from the brunch area during my stay, the WiFi is working perfectly fine for video calls. It’s easy to find free parking around the hotel and the walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes. Gym is small but well equipped with weights, cardio machines, small mats, thick elastic bands and free towels. Thank you for everything, I had an amazing stay and am looking forward to coming back!

The property is well kept and beautifully decorated, my room was beautiful with stunning sea view, they give all amenities, complimentary mini bar and a bottle of red wine and everyday sweets before bed. The swimming pool has different levels which don’t make people crowded and also has many trees and grass which makes you don’t feel the hot weather. It has 2 pools, one being adults only, with incredible view. The spa is wonderful. Breakfast is wonderful and you can choose to have in one restaurant with buffet service or on the other restaurant with a la carte menu, either way with sea view. Room was comfortable, towels new and fluffy, you get cute slippers and you can use the beach basket for free, the corridors smells so good, reception staff Antonia, Sara, Paula e the girl who speaks Portuguese were my favorite people, but overall staff is friendly and polite. The location is perfect and the hotel makes you feel at home. Loved it and definitely will be back.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was on another level. Check-in was a breeze, with a welcome drink of our choice while we relaxed outside, soaking in the breathtaking beach view. Our room, the Superior Room, was nothing short of incredible—modern, fresh, and with an ocean view that completely blew us away. Sitting in the evening, watching the waves roll in, or catching the sunrise was simply magical—these moments quickly became the highlight of our stay. If you have the option, I highly recommend booking one of these rooms; the experience is worth it! The hotel itself is stylishly decorated, with every corner reflecting a blend of comfort and elegance. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a wide variety of options, including plenty for vegans and vegetarians. Seeing scrambled tofu at the buffet was a delightful surprise, and it’s clear the hotel puts a lot of thought into catering to all guests. We especially loved the little touches, like being able to log into our Netflix account on the room TV—perfect for winding down after a day at the beach. The gym was compact but equipped with everything you need for a good workout. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the service. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but Borja deserves a special mention. His level of care and commitment to his guests is something you rarely come across. He genuinely made us feel like VIPs, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. It’s clear that Borja loves what he does, and it shows in every interaction. A special thank you also to Jenny, who was always warm and welcoming. The entire team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at Astoria Hotel! Everything was perfect—from the cozy room to the warm hospitality. But the real highlight was the surprise birthday dessert plate with a candle at dinner for my wife—such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that truly touched us! The staff were all incredibly friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help with a smile. We felt at home from the first moment. Can’t recommend this place enough—if I could, I’d rate it 15 out of 10!

A firm favorite among sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. Palma, the enchanting capital, has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbor, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport shuttle rides. On the north side of the island, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana range features amazing mountain lakes. A trip to its highest peak, Puig Major, will provide breathtaking views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts include Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighboring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east, Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters.     The staff were attentive. We arrived early before check in and left late after check out and were able to store our luggage at the hotel before check in and after check out. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Hotel is a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Bus stop is a short walk away that’s easily accessible. The hotel was also sweet in arranging a taxi service to the airport upon check out. Rooms were clean, pillows were amazing (it’s important to have good pillows, lol). Would definitely recommend this place!

    This place is amazing! Huge property, and plenty of activities for kids. Mini concert for kids every night and entertainment for adults, pool bar every swimming pool area. Food is great and a lot to choose from. My children are so satisfied that after 4 days of stay they want me to book for next trips. We had 10 days staycation full of bliss and unforgettable memories.

    We loved the old town, narrow streets filled with shops, bars and restaurants linking beautiful old buildings against a stunning backdrop of the bay. We particularly enjoyed a city bike tour on our first morning and loved the roof top bars and tapas options. We arranged a day pass to access a beach hotel's facilities close to the airport on our last day which was such a good idea and worked well for some last minute relaxation.

    Playa de Palma is beautiful with a beautiful beach and many places to find a drink or meal. The only major drawback is that the hotel feels more like a “mini Germany,” since it’s a very popular holiday spot for German travelers. If you’re hoping for something that feels more local, just keep that in mind.

    I had three days of holiday, and I just wanted to go to the warm sea and take my child to the water park. That's why I chose El Arenal, because it's quite close to the airport and the water park, and I didn't have to waste time travelling. The main advantage of the city is, of course, the sea. But you have to be very careful here. I saw local thieves trying to steal things from holidaymakers at the sea or goods from shops more than once. Another unpleasant thing was that there was a persistent smell of urine in the narrow streets near the promenade, even though the streets were washed by the owners of shops and cafes. But this is most likely the fault of tourists who walked around at night.

    Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.

    Typical Spanish tourist town.

    Typical Spanish tourist town. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, some with live music. Would of like it to be a bit more boutique'y and a little less Spanish/British bucket and spade. So not a lot to see, unless you like these very typical Spanish beach resorts. But overall good for a short break.

    Can Pastilla is a very peaceful town with a large, beautiful beach and many great places to walk. The promenade to Palma is perfect for running. Unlike Palma, it’s quiet and relaxing, with excellent restaurants. Highly recommended!

    The staff across the hotel were always courteous / smiling...

    The staff across the hotel were always courteous / smiling and made that important position that we were 'On Holiday'. Even the smaller problems were always dealt with promptly by your staff - and they never 'forgot' any of our questions!

    Cala dor is a beautiful place with so many beautiful cove beaches Esmeralda very pretty It’s such a safe place everyone is chilled out and relaxed just such a lovely atmosphere everywhere Marina is stunning and beautiful foid our favourite was portofina restaurant staff are very friendly and food is lovely we found marina cheaper to eat than the square as well Maddison’s bar nice atmosphere in the evenings Everything is in walking distance square and marina 5 min walk apart from each other there are lots of hotels in Cala dor situated around the square Just loved Cala dor and will def go back

    The area was lively yet peaceful enough to relax. There were restaurants and parties in the evenings, but it never felt overcrowded – just the right number of people. The scenery was truly breathtaking.

    We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is...

    We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is popular with groups of boys and girls on party holidays. It’s such a short trip to Magaluf that they seem to stay in Santa Ponsa and get a cab into Magaluf. Because of this a lot of bars are very busy and geared towards groups of young lads/girls. We didn’t find it a major issue however one to bear in mind for a family holiday.
