- From $133.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 389 reviewsThe hotel itself is a stunning building dating back to the mid 1800's and the style and decor has been kept in style with this. The rooms were simple and basic but clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a lack of electrical sockets but we managed Ok . Although the cost seems expensive, we were allowed to use the balnearios before check in by getting a stamp at reception and also the day we checked out. Therefore, deducting the entrance over the two days we were there, (€60 for two of us) the hotel was only €40. We also paid extra for dinner, which wasn't to our taste ( English.: / ) so when we go again, we will probably eat at the snack bar, but it was good value with wine included. For the pools, you need a swim hat or you can buy one there and towelling robes are provided by the hotel for free (deposit needed) which was great, especially in the evening. The pools themselves were amazing, especially at night when they are illuminated and the sky is so clear. It was kinda magical! We will definitely go again.Guest review bySharonSpain
- From $85.61 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 1,444 reviewsAfter reading some other reviews before our journey, I was afraid, but the hotel is great. It's clean, everything in the room was working and nice, kitchen was well-equipped. It was really comfortable. The hotel is not noisy, like written in some reviews, staff is very nice and helpful, but the location is the best. It's right at the beach, to the "inner beach" it's about 200 m. In the hotel there is outside swimming pool, minigolf, gym and children playground, everything for free. Shop is close, as well as some restaurants. We also tried the hotel lunch and it was also very good. You can use the bus to travel there and back on La Manga (line 15) and it's cheap - 1.15 eur per person, but the driver doesn't accept cards.Guest review byLenkaCzech Republic

The apartment was clean and spacious in a quiet area with a lovely open view of the valley below from the balcony. The pool was only a 2 minute walk away, perfect for our needs as a family with an 8 year old and beds in the shade were always available. You definitely need a car. Beaches are only a short 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Our favourite restaurant was La Barra Tapas Bar in nearby Atamaria, high quality and very reasonable.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I think its a lovely experience with plenty of history to see at very little cost. The city is very clean and has a good relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of small bars and good restaurants to enjoy and the service everywhere we went was good. There is no problem if you dont speak Spanish. There is a large shopping mall close by if you want more choice.Guest review byLyndaSpain - 10.0
A beautiful location.
A beautiful location. This is such a nice place because it is authentically Spanish which is the reason I visit Spain. Lovely tapas and a great variety of Soanisg restaurants. The beach is beautiful and we had some lovely runs along the beachfront. Very peacefulGuest review bySamanthaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing.
The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing. So much so that the wife and I are considering investing. Mainly because it is the most inclusive resort I have ever imagined. There are lifeguards with wheelchairs, ramps, crutches, and enthusiasm; to help every one into the sea. Drop kerbs all over. And an openness and acceptance that would make this the ideal place for SEN kids, or adults with disabilities There are plenty of affordable street cafes for tapas and a fry-up, or a curry. There are a good number of good restaurants. And a fair few excellent ones.Guest review byKevinUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We visited during what I thought was a shoulder season. It seems to be a quiet town with great access to the beach and dining. We enjoyed day trips visiting wineries and olive oil facilities as we as Cartegena.Guest review bygustUnited States - 10.0

An excellent holiday location with fast food, Spanish authentic tapas bars.and more expensive restaurants to suit all needs. There are several good quality beaches on both sides of the fishing harbour and all amenities within a small area.Guest review byAlexander ThomsonSpain - 10.0
I liked everything and everyone, nothing was a problem.
I liked everything and everyone, nothing was a problem. My room outstanding , food outstanding . I may have liked a shuttle bus maybe going down to the Centre twice a day. I am 76yrs old and I did walk down and back up and to be honest I didn’t think I could do it But I did and was very proud of myself! Lovely to see the very old villages and the beautiful churches.Guest review byMaureenUnited Kingdom - 4.0

The hotel I had booked into was closed but I wasn’t told until I got there. I had booked a room with balcony and bath. No balcony at new hotel and bath plug didn’t fit so I couldn’t have a bath. Couldn’t regulate the air conditioning so had to open window to allow cool air in. Food mediocre, eg smoked salmon covered in oil which overpowered taste. I booked two massages which were fantastic!Guest review byRuthSpain - 4.0
Food not good - No labels , cold and had been sitting there.
Food not good - No labels , cold and had been sitting there. The breakfast was slightly better but still cold. (HOT FOOD)! Do not know what you are eating, no labels, No Allergy WARNINGS. You might get to play golf if stopping longer, but we booked the hotel to play golf , to no avail due to the course being so dry and bad condition. I don't think the hotel meets a 4 star re the food. Its well over priced and have eaten better in a cafe. I cannot see why they cannot put a choice menu out the day before and cook fresh. They must have lots of waste.Guest review byMELODYUnited Kingdom
