First of all the check in was at 03.00 pm but they gave us the room earlier without extra charges, that was realy nice after such a long trip we were exhausted, after that we enjoyed free welcoming drinks at Margaritas rooftop. The room was large and bright, all the facilities we needed were already in the room. The location was perfect- close to the beach and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable, the room was super clean and there was a large balcony, qute place for a good night rest. We were stayng only 1 nigt but we made a reservation for another 3 nights! Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island. It has that wonderfully built Lago Martináez, where you could swim, whatever high waves were on the ocean. The seaside promenade is beautiful, full of stores and restaurants. It is easy to get around. The area is perfect for all ages It is desired by adults for the wonderful view it offers. The long walks with the different terraces that invite you are a dream. The important thing is that the beach is public everywhere and is not private. Accommodations have very good prices. 4-star hotels are around 120 euros per night. For young people there is nightlife with parties on the seashore. Food is for all tastes. - there are higher prices for quality food as well as lower prices. We stayed 4 nights in LC and 7 nights in Adeje. LC- It’s gone down hill. Streets are tired. People begging. One gentleman I spoke to had his gold chain ripped off his neck in broad daylight while walking with his family. (He was with his wife, daughter and grandson). The villa part with beautiful gardens, trees, houses, and the part where people live tightly and where the most is happening. Lots of street culture, lots of cultural attractions. A lot of nice beaches with restaurants and bars for all ages, starting point to El Teide mountain, close to airport, the city is very clean and neat.
