Valencia is a fabulous place - it does expand further than you think (Communidad of Valencia) but the different areas around the City are interesting & easy to get to! Bus/tram system second to none & cheap & you can travel on any bus for up to an hour with one purchased ticket. Lots to satisfy all age groups & interests - City, Beach, Arts & Sciences & many other attractions /Museums with such a selection of restaurants or bars too, whichever part of Valencia you visit. Casa Montana, Cien Fuego & Nou Raco (in Albufera) we’re favourite restaurants. Warm friendly city. Parking can be difficult, but there are many underground car parks very reasonably priced. The city is very clean and well kept. Great location for families.
Great location for families. Los locos beach has a playground, beach bar and is easily accessed. Los locos is a short walk along the promenade to La cura beach, where there are more restaurants, shops, and a family friendly beach with paddle boats. There is also another playground on that walk. Beautiful fishing town with great bars and restaurants. Second visit here and can't wait to come back. 2hr drive for us from Orihuela Costa but well more the trip. Find hostel Loretto and you'll be on one of the most beautiful streets in the town. I had such an amazing time staying here in Spain with my parents! The apartment was perfect—super clean, comfortable, and cozy. The room was spacious, and I loved how everything was so well thought out. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, making us feel like we were part of their family. They even made sure we had everything we needed, from fresh bed sheets to little touches that made the stay even more special. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time here.
