- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 522 reviewsEverything about Plantation is amazing. The best family resort - so much for the kids to do! ( I read 4 entire novels - I can't remember the last time I has enough alone time to do that!). Definitely recommend hiring bikes to get around. The kids loved all the kids club activities - they can opt in and out depending on what they are interested in. They LOVED the new jungle water park. The staff are wonderful - especially Nenisa (sp?) at the Ocean bar learning my name and favourite order from the first day hahaha. The wonderful kids club team and the staff at the Black Coral restaurant especially delivering great service. The Polynesian night show was a highlight as well as the activities for adults such as the cooking classes. Great family sized rooms. We will definitely be back!Guest review byEmmaNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 221 reviewsLovely location! The rooms have a fantastic view! In addition to the public pool, our room has a private plunge pool, which was convenient and a nice touch. All rooms have an amazing outdoor shower! Great water pressure with lots of hot water. The beds were very comfortable! The staff was incredible from the first minute to the last. Food was included. It was fantastic, and different every day. This was an experience that we will treasure, and we hope to return soon!Guest review byScottEcuador
- From $465.48 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 658 reviewsAbsolutely beautiful snorkelling, so many fish and a lot of coral. The water and beach was amazing, exceeded expectations. The food was also great! A lot of options available for both food and drink - but the buffet was great with a different theme each night. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a lot of entertainment - dancing, singing from the staff - plenty of games and activities to enjoy too. Great stay here!Guest review byJackAustralia
- From $218.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 516 reviewsBeautiful resort in the middle of a paradisiac island. Beach is amazing. We did snorkeling just outside our room and saw lots of colorful fishes. The food is local food served for local people and was delicious. They also have a full complete gym, if you are a sport person this place is definitely for you! Don’t hope to find 5 stars conditions, is not luxury but is warmly and clean. It really worth itGuest review byAgustinaNew Zealand

As a large family group of 2 grandparents, 6 adult children and 3 grandkids, the resort was excellent and catered for all ages. A great selection of 4 pools, beautiful beach, 2 superb restaurants and a large buffet restaurant, plus other eateries. Various shops and bars. Night time entertainment, fire dancers were excellent, grandson amazed that "he ate fire"! Water sport activities, catamaran, kayaks, jumping inflatable. Relaxing spa, 9 hole golf course with Plantation island golf balls so they're all the same! Boats available for a quick trip to Cloudbreak and other surf breaks. Cloud 9 floating bar. We did it all and it was all amazing.Guest review bySuzanneAustralia - 10.0

We stayed at Sheraton Resort & Spa Takariki Island Fiji in early September for 6 nights with my partner. Our room had a garden view and was equipped with everything we needed, though it could use a light renovation. Housekeeping was done daily, with linen changed every three days. Complimentary water was provided at 0.5L per person per day. The resort grounds are absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean and the island, especially from the dining area. The staff were always warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Irene for her hospitality and support, as well as to the recreation team and the chef for the delicious meals, which is impressive considering the challenges of island logistics. Service in the restaurants was slower than we are used to – sometimes lunch took 40 minutes to an hour – but this seems to be the island pace, so patience is needed. The all-inclusive package took us a couple of days to fully understand. Breakfast buffet was included, lunch was à la carte with a choice of two courses, and dinner offered three courses à la carte or buffet (on some days), plus the option of dining at the excellent Indian restaurant, Kukuima, which we highly recommend. The pool was great, and the highlight of our stay was the snorkelling. You can already see fish just off the beach, and if you swim a bit further out to the reef crest, the variety of marine life is amazing. It’s important to go at high tide to avoid damaging corals or getting injured. The resort also carefully manages activities depending on tide, wind, and waves, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with beautiful weather, lots of positive energy, and memorable experiences. We would be very happy to return.Guest review byOlga OzdemirNew Zealand - 10.0

Do not book into this "resort" if you would like nice and good service, good food and a general feel of comfort. It was all terrible. The pool was under construction which was not said prior. We sat on the beach and listened to a jack hammer for an entire day.Guest review byAmyNew Zealand - 10.0

The snorkelling was amazing, so much live coral and plenty of fish just off the beach. We saw reef sharks off the back of Serenity island, we also saw one swim in front of our beach front Bure. We also went on a trip to the Sandbar and it had amazing coral also, the team at Serenity island made our trip so much fun and was a great group bonding event.Guest review byRobertAustralia - 10.0
I cannot praise the staff enough.
I cannot praise the staff enough. Anything you wanted they took care of. Our bure was right on the beach and there were sturdy steps leading down to the water that was almost lapping at our door. Taking a dip in the sea was easy and refreshing. The restaurant and bar areas were great and always b right and happy with local Fijians making music. The quiet pool was lovely as we are older adults and appreciated the fact the children had another pool to swim and play in. We could relax with a cocktail around the pool. Overall it was a great stay and recommend it to anyone going to Fiji - it is a must.Guest review byChrisAustralia - 8.0

We didnt stay for the surfing, but for snorkelling, cloud 9 and the bushwalk. From the summit of the hike the views are amazing. Take sturdy shoes, water (safe to drink) and a few snacks from the mainland as the hike is hard work in the heat, its steep with loose dirt/gravel - about an hour or so one way. We snorkelled off sandbank and it wasnt too busy - at low tide the sandbank is exposed so put your towel and water down there and spend an hour with the reef fish. Some of them came right up to me, I wonder if they’ve been fed or are just friendly. Cloud 9 was just fun. Byo goggles or snorkel, a money card and a towel. Jump off the roof into the water, swim with the fish and enjoy a pizza and a cocktail.Guest review byJodiAustralia - 10.0
Beautiful island in an ideal location.
Beautiful island in an ideal location. Small enough to explore and not get lost, and recommend taking a walk to the peak of the island to view the surrounding coast and other islands, particularly at sunset.Guest review bychristopher - 10.0

Fantastic accommodation and food (Sheraton).
Fantastic accommodation and food (Sheraton). Weather was perfect in June - consistently between 24-28 deg! Water temp was 27deg - no rasher needed. Very relaxing. Note a couple of things - extra activities were super expensive. Food generally quite expensive (but good) - we stayed at Sheraton - very nice - but no 'cheaper' food options (e.g. ~$20-30Aus for an entree). Highly suggest paying for the buffet breakfast - amazing! (never seen so many options!).Guest review byRay5Australia
