Vina offered great hospitality. We would have stayed longer if we had known more about the rooms. Vina picked us up from the airport and was very friendly. Restaurants are walking distance, a market with groceries was also nearby. We snorkeled from the sandy beach across the road. Simple pleasures of Fiji are here.

Our four night stay with Sam and Sarah was the major highlight of our visit to Fiji. They welcomed us into their family with real warmth and fed us extremely well both at breakfast and dinner in the evening. Sarah even insisted upon providing us with a packed lunch. They could not have been more helpful, even putting our clothes through their washing machine and hanging them up for us to dry. We and our fellow guests immediately felt completely at home. Sam is a retired schoolmaster and currently a taxi driver, while Sarah works at a local Resort. Sam was always cheerful and cracking jokes and, after taking us us to visit the highlight spots of Taveuni, would wait patiently to bring us back home again. He also met us off the ferry from Natuvu and took us to the small adjacent airport upon departure. One day their daughter had left her lunch box behind, so we had the pleasure of touring her school, a very happy place. We were very sad to leave and would love to return on a future occasion. We would thoroughly recommend AerowView Home Retreat to anyone who plans to visit Fiji.

The quality of this place is exceptional. Perfectly integrated with its natural surroundings, it offers a haven of true relaxation. I have traveled widely, yet this is one of the rare places I truly want to return to. Taveuni is a magical island — unspoiled, lush, and refreshingly free of mass tourism. Staying at this hotel felt like being immersed in an untouched piece of Fijian paradise. Our villa had a breathtaking view of the sea and felt wonderfully secluded, even with ten or so other villas nearby. Spending time in our private garden, with the ocean at our feet, was unforgettable. The villa was extremely spacious, with a supremely comfortable bed that made every night’s sleep a joy. The restaurant is another highlight, offering spectacular views and excellent food with a different menu each day. For variety, a charming local restaurant just a 10-minute walk away provides authentic island dining. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. Unlike the impersonal feel of large resorts, here everything is personal, warm, and genuine. The team was never too busy to answer questions or anticipate needs, often acting proactively because they genuinely cared. A special mention to Storm, in the hotel office, whose support was remarkable. She not only helped me reschedule my trip after an injury, but was constantly available with advice, before and during my stay. Likewise, Raymond tirelessly personalized tours and even used family connections to assist with the final part of my trip in Nadi. Both embodied true hospitality: caring, patient, and committed to making guests feel at home. Their involvement made my stay feel more than a holiday — it felt like being welcomed into a family. Leaving was genuinely difficult, and I will always remember their warmth until I return.

This was a great resort. We live in Fiji, and this is the nicest pool we have ever had at a resort. The owners are wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. They arranged a snorkeling trip and a wonderful hike to a beautiful waterfall. The food was good at the restaurant, especially the breakfast. There are two small grocery stores just a short walk away, so you really don't need a car while staying there. Just arrange for transportation from the airport. Also, the internet is amazingly fast here. They use Starlink so you won't have any problems with internet.

This spot is a strategically located homestay near the islands airport, less then 5 mins walk, as well as a good starter point for island activities; walking or driving. A welcoming tourist friendly area that was hospitable, well priced, and had a great attitude all around. They have Internet/wifi.

Walking in to Lomani was truly a "WOW" moment and you instantly fall in love. Lomani has the most incredible view up on the hill of the Somosomo Straight right from it's own pool, it honestly doesn't feel real! We cooked our own breakfast in the large kitchen, loved roaming the grounds to find fruits (like pineapples) and tropical flowers. The wifi and Netflix are awesome additions too, but we just found ourselves enjoying switching off and gazing into the stunning sunsets and showered under the stars. Knox was so helpful and picked us up from the ferry, drove us to the shops for supplies, and lots of activities, including the beautiful Bouma falls and we also snorkelled the insanely colourful rainbow reef (amazing dive shop just down the road!). Our experience was enriched greatly by Knox and we enjoyed our time getting to know him. Saskia is also a fabulous host who communicated everything we needed to know before our stay. Glass bottom kayaks and snorkel gear are also available but sadly we ran out of time to use them. There are so many activities to chose from, or equally opportunities to just relax, recharge, and connect with nature and each other. Knox even worked tirelessly all day to cook us a traditional Lovo on our final night at Lomani, which was so delicious and very memorable. It rained quite heavily during our time but it didn't dampen our experience at all. Lomani is a quaint cottage that feels cosy and spacious like home (but with ten times more incredible views). There is something deeply special about Lomani and we hope to return one day but stay longer than three nights. Taveuni is a tranquil, quiet, lush garden island teaming with wildlife, fruit, flowers and creatures (like frogs and geckos), along with such kind hearted people. Unlike anywhere we have ever been before. We are from a busy city and loved how Taveuni is the opposite.
