- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 784 reviewsThe location is paradise on Earth, with a beautiful bay full of light blue and turquoise colors, white sand, a clean sea, palm trees, like in the posters we put on the wall, where we want to go. The bay in front of the resort is good for swimming without corals and rocks, and you don't need water shoes. Corals are very close by, so you can do diving and snorkeling as well. I stayed in a hostel, because I wanted to stay longer and not pay too much for accommodation. The dorm is actually a very spacious room, divided into a few beds by small walls, so you have enough space for luggage and a wonderful view of the bay each morning. It is clean and well-ventilated. The resort is aesthetically decorated in a natural manner, and there is always nice, not too loud Fijian music in the background. You can see in the garden very interesting sculptures made from coconut shells and wood. Gardeners are real artists. There are some activities, like swimming in caves, learning about local medicine plants, weaving palm tree baskets, and a visit to a local village. There is a small concert with a cava ceremony on Sundays. All activities are done by staff from the resort. Those are multi-talented people with a great hospitality attitude. Food is good and healthy. They have a cute doggie, Rosie, and a friendly cat, Chrissy. The main management staff gives them food to eat and cleans them of parasites. They also have goats right behind the resort, and you can go to see them, too. Everyone is nice and approachable. Even though this is a tourism resort, and of course, money is important, in the Oarsman, somehow, you feel they take care of the well-being of guests, and you feel a personal connection with the staff. You see them, they see you, so you have some feelings about authentic Fijian people, and that they have good care about you. As a solo female traveler in a foreign land and a distant island, I felt safe. All in all, a right measure of everything for a wonderful vacation.Guest review bytamaraTaiwan
- From UAH 5,016.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 890 reviewsFirst, there are a variety of room types for all budgets. We stayed in a beach villa, which was great. We absolutely loved the outdoor bathroom and shower. But everyone that we met enjoyed their room. Second, there is a mandatory meal plan. The resort did a great job providing a daily menu, then preparing the meals to order. The food was top notch. Third, the activities list is huge, with something for everyone. DO THE MANTARAY SNORKEL! Unbelievable! The kava tasting was also fantastic. Thanks for a great vacation stay!Guest review byScottEcuador
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 262 reviewsCoconut Beach Resort is a peaceful, relaxing place to enjoy either as a solo traveler, or as a large family. The staff is fantastic! They are all very friendly, happy and interested in getting to know you. There are plenty of organized activities at the resort, or a boat-ride away, encouraging you to get to know others. The meals are beautifully presented, varied and delicious. The resort arranged the transfers and they were flawless. I stayed 5 nights and wished I had booked longer. I hope to return one day.Guest review byJaniceUnited States
- From UAH 4,706.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 525 reviewsStaff, the activities they plan , specially the kava ceremony and a little live from the team. Snorkeling and kayaking we enjoyed which is free and just outside on the beach, crystal clear water. Loved Welcome and farewell songs. And room is nice and spacious. If you're in fiji - go to any islands and don't stay on the mainland as there's nothing much on mainland. I would suggest stay on different island resorts everyday and get the hop on hop off ferry pass for transports.Guest review byParthIndia
- From UAH 18,140.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 219 reviewsIt was a joy to stay here, with exceptional people who ensure visitors have a fantastic time; arranging snorkelling trips, visits to caves, kava ceremonies and private picnics on an idyllic beach. The bures are spacious, clean and overlook the amazing turquoise water and neighbouring islands. When you're told 'welcome home' to guests on arrival, it's true.Guest review byCarolineAustralia

We wanted a homestay run by locals, so we got an authentic experience. No roads, no cars, only walking tracks and hiking trails. Wonderful. They are isolated, so no shop, I would recommend taking sachet coffees etc if you like more than instant. If you get inspired to want to help them (as I was) you could think of taking snorkelling flippers and leaving them there, or packraft paddles (they come apart), or a yoghurt maker and powder packets to make yoghurt. Some books, games, or big maps of Yasawa. We had a week, which was just right....but didn't get to do all the activities we intended to. Too nice being relaxed and even lazy. The ferry ride there is fun and interesting and they supply complimentary transfers to and from accommodation. South Sea Cruises. Apparently there is a supply boat from Lautoka once a week which is much cheaper.Guest review byRowenaNew Zealand - 10.0

Gorgeous island - beautiful beaches, coral reef, and the island itself is lovely - you can go on a mountain forest walk as well as be on the beach. Delicious food, and lots of activities - we enjoyed the mountain walks, the beaches, diving, snorkelling and also just relaxing by the pool, trying out the yoga classes and massages and also the trips to the nearby local villages.Guest review byGaliaAustralia - 10.0

The best parts of my stay included staying at Waya Lai Lai Eco Haven resort - the cultural immersion and exposure to the local village, getting to know the local staff, the intentionality and hospitality they all showed consistently towards guests, the excellent home cooked food and fun activities. I would go back in a heartbeat and am planning my next trip back already!Guest review byJamAustralia - 10.0

This is a very special place, great location, peaceful, quiet, clean and easy to get to - perfect for taking a break, relax and recharge from the usual busyness of life! The resort offers great views of the ocean, one of the best sunset we have seen, clean white sandy beach, local food and culture experiences, snorkeling, handline fishing, swimming with Manta rays and many other activities. Most importantly, you will be taken great care of by an incredible team of staff led by Paul and Liti. Special thanks to Nimi, Peci, Anne, Rusi, Fane, Sai, Api, Lai, John, Rauga and La. We miss you all and looking forward to be back soon ❤️😊Guest review bySanaeNew Zealand - 10.0

Very easy with the Yasawa flyer of South Sea Cruises, if you have the money I would recommend tha chopper back, 5 hours is still a long drive. Book the captains lounge for 10 euro extra, more comfort and free snacks and drinksGuest review byJaap VersnelNetherlands - 10.0

Very windy when i stayed which was a bummer but the room and its bathroom was very nice and private. I would highly recommend getting someone to take you to blue lagoon beach across the other side of the island over the hills as it was stunning and a great swimming spot! Near Nanuya Island resort.Guest review byDeclanAustralia - 10.0

I liked the relaxing vibe of the place, was nice just to chill in the bure or hammock or do activities like kayaking or hiking the trail over the hills, which is a great photo opportunity overlooking other fijian islands.Guest review byDeclanAustralia - 10.0
Beautiful small island resort - the bush walk recommended.
Beautiful small island resort - the bush walk recommended. Eating was at the restaurant with a set menu. The ferry takes 3 hours - next time perhaps the helicopter would be better so we didn't have to stay on the mainland a night at each end.Guest review byMelW86New Zealand
