- From $211.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 956 reviewsExcept for our WiFi which was too slow, our stay was exceptional: the rooms and materials were perfect (lots of real oak), the design was new and trendy, the restaurant was out of this world and fairly priced, the wine was local and fantastic, the breakfast for €25 was bottomless and with fresh products (bread, fruits, jam, all kinds of cheeses, ham) and you can get free freshly made eggs and crepes upon demand, pools and jacuzzi were clean, the outdoor area clean, 1 hour massage for €85 was good, the staff was caring. Best stay ever, even got a free bottle of wine to make up for the WiFi problem.Guest review byDavidUnited States
- From $158.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 457 reviewsThe drive to the property was very beautiful! The snow was just starting to cover the upper mountains. It snowed the day we arrived. The chalet was very cute and clean! There was plenty of seating room for the 3 adults that stayed. For the smallness of the chalet (cabin), it was quite comfortable without feeling cramped. The resteraunt is very good, but is limited on selections. Breakfast is worth the price too. We are planning on coming back in the late spring. We will bring more friends to share this experience.Guest review byMarthaUnited States

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 988 reviewswe were impressed by how clean was the chalet. When we entered the door, it was obvious that everything was desinfected, the bed sheets were clearly cleaned as they came in closed bags. The bathroom was also really clean. We travelled with our shepherd dog and a toddler and it was perfect. Directly next to the camping there is a forest for walking the dog.Guest review bySorina F.Germany

Strasbourg is a fascinating place to visit and very easy to walk around. There are plenty of things to do and great places to eat. The cathedral is simply splendid and just across the square is the Palais Rohan- home to the bishops and kings who visited over a number of centuries- it was very quiet when we visited which made it even more special - with so few people we could actually imagine the history of the place centuries ago. The Batobus is inexpensive and takes you on a wonderful trip along the river past the European Parliament with an English commentary along the way- thoroughly enjoyable and we learned a lot about Strasbourg and its fascinating history!Guest review byKathrynAustralia - 10.0
Colmar is a stunning and vibrant town.
Colmar is a stunning and vibrant town. Its colourful half-timbered houses, cobbed street and picturesque canals make it a joy to explore. It was very easy to navigate on foot, with so many lovely corners and spot to take a photo. The food is delicious, with some Alsatian restaurant serving regional specialities like tarte flambee' and choucroute. And the wine was also excellent we enjoyed the Rieslings and Gewurztraminers.Guest review byKatiaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A charming city, especially the old town with it's cobble paved streets and character shops and cafés. The museum is a must visit attraction. It a good base to explore the region and discover the charming villages and neighbouring towns. We found the people to be friendly and most helpful especially to non French speaking visitors. Visitors need to familiarise themselves with the general opening and closing times of the shops during the week.Guest review byPETERSouth Africa - 6.0

I am French so I was happy to stay in France while visiting Basel. Because of the poor experience we had in the apartment, we moved to another one in Switzerland. We found a very charming village with beautiful architecture and nature around. Switzerland must have been wealthier than this part of France for a long time and it shows.Guest review byFRANCKUnited States - 10.0

Very clean and safe. Perfect location for a short Elzas discovery trip. Highway to Straatsburg and Colmar/Mulhouse is only 5 mins away. On the other hand it's also a very short drive to get up in the mountains.Guest review byKarmenBelgium - 10.0
Beautiful village with half-timbered houses in the heart of...
Beautiful village with half-timbered houses in the heart of the wine-growing region of Alsace. Very touristy during the daytime, but the crowds thin out considerably in the evening, leaving the storks in peace with those discerning enough to have booked somewhere to stay in the village itself. Eating out is expensive and the quality is mediocre. Nobody needs to try hard here, because the location is stunning and people will keep coming back even when service is poor. Some spectacular castle ruins are hiking distance from the village. The picturesque city of Colmar is within easy reach. The historic village of Turckheim is worth visiting when the town watchman does his nightly rounds of the walls, wishing all the sleeping inhabitants a "guati Nacht" in the Alsacien language.Guest review byThe Language SecretGermany - 10.0
This is one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages...
This is one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in the Alsace wine region. It can be busy during the day at peak season as it is on the Wine Route and gets a lot of day visitors. Staying here means that you get to experience it in the mornings and evenings when it is generally fairly quiet and you can really enjoy the surroundings and the handful of local restaurants and cafes. For us, that was one of the best reasons to stay here. It is also a great location for days out around the region, to Basle in Switzerland (40 minutes by car) and also across the Rhine into Germany (30-40 minutes by car) being fairly central. From the UK, it is easy and fairly quick to get to with Eurostar into Strasbourg or cheap flights to Basle Airport then local transport.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay, especially for the price. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious enough, with the added convenience of parking and being super close to the tram. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Even though we expected to share a bathroom, we were happy to find a shower in the room, only the toilets were shared.Guest review byManuelaSpain - 10.0

This is such a picturesque town with lovely people. The wine! Fantastic. Things don't really open before 10. But the municipal spirit is exemplary. Each business puts great effort into its appearance and shows lovely civic pride.Guest review byEndaUnited Kingdom
