Octon is an attractive tiny village - the 'discovery' in an extensive road trip in France. The hotel/restaurant is in a historic building with a view over the village. Room was pleasant and we ate well in the restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff.

The owner of the property was very welcoming and attentive. Even though the hotel restaurant was closed, he managed to arrange for me to dine that evening at another restaurant in the village, despite my lack of advance notice that I would like this. The restaurant was outstanding, While the room was small, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely, secluded setting.

We stayed in a twin room, which was extremely clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel meant we could leave the car in the hotel car park and walk into the centre of the town.

The house is in a very quiet area and is very well set up. The pool looked great, there is a tree house, birds and a nice garden. The host is kind and has good tips. Breakfast is ok and convenient. The room is clean and well set up. It's close to the lake and the town, so tons of food options around.

Peaceful and cozy (visited in off-season). Room was well-appointed, with everything we needed. (Note:. Our room had an oven and cooktop. Each room has different amenities, so check to make sure the room you booked has what you need!) This was a good base for exploring nearby attractions, and the hosts were very helpful!
