- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 222 reviewsI had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to the exceptional team. From the warm welcome by the staff outside the doors to the efficient reception and helpful concierge, which were at my service almost 24hr and always supported with any request, every interaction was pleasant. The frequent shuttle service to the city center was a huge plus, making it easy to explore. I also appreciated the convenience of having a ski rental store within the hotel and the seamless service to the sister hotel, which provided direct access to the ski entrance. The sauna was greatGuest review byMajidUnited Arab Emirates
- From $252.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,700 reviewsThe room I reserved was good, but there was a party at night and I couldn't sleep. I asked the receptionists to change my room and they move me to a better room with no noise for free. They said it is important to make us happy. This is one of the things I liked. I really loved my stay here. I will definitely book in the same hotel for my next visit to Chamonix.Guest review byFullaKuwait

I’m ran the UTMB event so I knew the area and already knew everything it has to offer in any season. Great choice of restaurants to suit all budgets. We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our grandaughter thirty-six years after we took her mother. The Parc delivered, with Chamois, Mouflon and Marmots to enjoy. The views from accommodation on that side of the valley are the best in the valley. In Les Houches village, the local patisserie was visited and a different cake enjoyed every day. There were plenty of paths (including Tour de Mont Blanc) into the forest, for walks from the chalet. Wonderful Alpine wildlife is easy to find. It was convenient to take the free train into Chamonix and take a ride to Le Brevent then walk the ridge and back to the chalet. We did the Mer de Glas, to from Chamonix. We went up to Bellevue on the teleferique and walked across the alp, finding several wild flowers and even a rare Wart-Biter Grasshopper! We then took the Tramway du Mont Blanc down to Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains and had a lovely afternoon in the beautiful park. There was a very tough Via Ferrata for the over 70s (with 50 years experience) and a Go Ape-type circuit with a rock-climb included in the trail for the 10-year-old and her Mamma, then train back to Les Houches. One weekend evening was lively down in the village, but up on the hill we could sit out in relative calm and stare at the sunset on snowy Mont Blanc, stars and the torch-lights of mountaineers picking their way down. All-in-all, very relaxing.Guest review byValerie - 10.0

We were lucky with the weather and snow, but there were a lot of people because of the school holidays. The resort itself is very cozy, beautiful trails of different levels, convenient markings. Ideal for beginner skiers.Guest review byNataliIsrael - 10.0

Great for cheaper and more spacious accommodation and ten minute trip up the hill in the regular funicular to get to Arc 1600. Saves a 50 minute car drive, especially if snowy or time is key. Though usually no snow itself in Bourg. Pretty old town and a functional new town on parallel street. Big supermarkets for stocking up.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 4.0
La Clusaz is ok but not great.
La Clusaz is ok but not great. It's low so snow is unreliable. It is relatively cheap for lift passes. There are no taxis available any more so getting round town in really hard! It's a very tame resort. Very hard to get into a restaurant on a weekend evening.Guest review byAmyGuernsey - 10.0

Great location for outdoors people, plenty of activities, ample choice of places to eat. First time in the summer for me, skied several times. Will visit in summer again. Good transport links and local buses.Guest review bySTEPHENUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Loved this resort!
Loved this resort! Great variety of ski runs for all grades of skiers . Lifts of high quality lifts & many options for getting down the mountain if you re just out of steam & don’t want to ski home. A high energy resort with live music in the bars apres ski.Guest review byMarella - 10.0
The ski area is great for everyone.
The ski area is great for everyone. There are plenty of green and blue slopes as well as more challenging runs and snowparks for the advanced skiers. The transportation and lifts are well run and were not too busy despite it being half-term. Good snow on the higher runs. Do not expect English to be spoken, it's a very French resort. Great restaurants and takeaway options, as well as traiteurs selling readymade meals, rotisserie chickens and lots of delicious local cheese and wine.Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A very scenic little town, though maybe a little expensive in some places. Almost every corner you turn, you'll enjoy a nice view, and the streets are nice to wander around. It's not a very big place, so if you're physically able, it's easy to get around on foot. If you're staying outside the town centre and you're going out late, carry a torch – some paths can get quite dark. Taking a cable car up to the Aiguille du Midi is worth the price, with some breathtaking views of Mont Blanc (be prepared for the altitude – it feels very disorienting if you're not used to it). The Mer de Glace is also a nice excursion, but it's very sad to see how much of the glacier is now gone thanks to climate change. There are some fantastic restaurants to stop at. I recommend L'Index for something upscale (ask the waiters about all the local produce they use) and La Fine Bouche serves an excellent dinner. For something more casual, head to Arcus Coffee for brunch or Yak for some Nepalese cuisine (order the momo dumplings!).Guest review byMarkFrance
