    Worst host and room I have ever seen.

    Worst host and room I have ever seen. They present everything beautifully, but on the inside it is downright filthy. Hair in the bed from previous visitors, dirty footprints on the stairs, clearly not vacuumed, mold everywhere. No form of ventilation possible, so even if you wanted to stay here, you actually can’t stay here because of your health. When we reported this to the host, we basically got the answer that we should clean it ourselves if we thought we could do it better. He also said that the lack of ventilation would not cause any harm. Additionally, they are not reachable by phone and do not respond to the emails sent via Booking, which also shows no willingness to cooperate in any way. DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMODATION!!

    We liked the most: museum La Piscine de Roubaix and cheap restaurant Le Chelia, old houses in Tourcoing, bakery near the accommodation, center of Lille with beautiful cafes, metro of Lille, direct train to Paris from the station in Tourcoing...

    We already stayed once before & we were very happy to visit...

    We already stayed once before & we were very happy to visit again. We were upgraded to a privilege double room & it was lovely. The staff were friendly as usual- Honore gave us a nice welcome at check-in. Restaurant was really pleasant- we were outside in their garden. Food also tasty. Breakfast worked well this time too! View from the window was of the car park - not so pretty but functional because we could keep an eye on our car.

    It was close to Lille and easy to drive there and find parking. Free parking at hotel. There were three restaurants in walking distance of the hotel to eat out in the evening. The best thing was the small airfield nearby where you could watch the planes take off and the people come down by parachute. Very little noise as only very small planes. The sunsets there were stunning as the hotel faced west. There was a huge Carrefour at the next motorway junction which was very handy.

    La Parcelle was a fantastic place to stay.

    La Parcelle was a fantastic place to stay. It has been beautifully restored by the owner, who was on site and catered to all our needs. We were staying in Lezennes for a hockey tournament at Ronchin, so the location was ideal for us - an easy 5 minute cycle ride - although there wasn't much locally in the way of bars or restaurants.

    Faultless. Superb welcome. fantastic property and great room. The best shower. Spotless! Great private or on street parking available. Wonderful hosts. The property had a wonderful vibe and even smelt wonderful! Loved it!

    Tourcoing has an excellent choice of transport connections...

    Tourcoing has an excellent choice of transport connections to Lille. It’s a clean safe modern town with an excellent mid-town shopping centre with an Auchan supermarket and easy parking. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants for all tastes and budgets.

    Visited La Piscine which isn't what the name implies but a beautifully converted art gallery and in our limited time in Roubaix observed numerous stunning buildings and found a wonderful park on its fringes to spend the last moments of our short visit !

    Close to Tourcoing station, Quick Burger nearby for late...

    Close to Tourcoing station, Quick Burger nearby for late arrival but make sure you get correct order before leaving premises as staff seem dippy, we ordered burgers/frites, got to hotel and discovered no burgers, went back and were presented with another bag, when got back to hotel discovered it was only frites, still no burgers but too tired to return again so 18 euros for chips was quite expensive!! Poorly lit carpark at PC so bring torch.
