It was raining for a couple of the three days I was there...
It was raining for a couple of the three days I was there but even so there are things to do inside. In the sun the park is big and I spent a lot of time there on the first day and it's really easy to walk around Lille I did the City Tour by coach provided by the tourist office and although I had walked a lot of the route it does give you a different view of Lille. The Palais des Beaux-Arts is a wonderful building housing paintings and sculptures. If you like art you can spend quite a few hours here and it has a cafe. I was leaving late afternoon on my final day and it was torrential rain so I went into the shopping mall. Loads of shops and restaurants.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The Operation Dynamo 1940 museum was well done and definitely worth a visit. Our walk along the promenade and the beach were both lovely. The aquarium, cathedral and old city wall’s walk were all very well worth doing. We enjoyed them all. We also enjoyed wandering through the fish markets. We walked everywhere, which was easy enough. We were there to play golf so it was perfect for that as there are 3 courses a practice green and driving range all in one area, every where was really well maintained. Lovely town with a lot of history. The tour of the Boves under the tourist information is well worth a visit. We have visited Arras before and never knew they were there! Very friendly people.
