- From $100.85 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 2,248 reviewsWe loved our ocean facing room. Our second room was okay but across the building and down the hall. I was hoping to be closer to our second room (our kids are 8 and 13). We had to get 2 rooms because they didn’t have quads available. For Europe, the rooms were a good size. We were on the 6th floor and had a balcony off each room (please note they are lovely, but you can’t fit a chair on them like many balconies in Europe). Coffee was good and location is awesome. On the beach (you have to cross one road and you’re on the boardwalk). Every restaurant and cafe is walking s Distance and the Bac is just steps away. Beds were very comfortable. The older, stylish lady was lovely at every interaction at reception. She was very happy and helpful.Guest review byKyleUnited States
- From $241.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 718 reviewsWe stayed here for 5 days four nights. It was a great location. We could walk for ice cream or dinner everyday and every night. I went to the beach often and found seaglass and really pretty stones. We had a couple massages that were great. We enjoyed the upstairs patio where we could lay out and read our books. The bartenders are very friendly and enjoyed having a drink every night.Guest review byamandaUnited States

The Abbeys are stunning, the town is flat so easy to walk around. There are regular markets, the Sunday one we went to was quite big with lots of fresh food. The harbour is a nice spot with a line of bars and restaurants nearby, my favourite being an Irish bar (O'Donnells) for a well kept pint (or three) of Guinness!Guest review byRaymondUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful town.
Beautiful town. The Harbour is the main feature but the surrounding area is beautiful too. We caught a bus to Trouville and Deauville which are well worth a visit. From where we were staying it was a short walk to the beach through the ‘Le Jardin des Personnalities’ which was stunning. The beach is lovely with a great beach bar with a varied menu of meals and drinks and reasonably priced. From the beach you look across to Le Havre port which isn’t very scenic and you do have tankers going down the estuary but that didn’t deter anyone as plenty of people were in the sea.Guest review byLisaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I was in Deauville for the Bridge Festival, so chose the location for that reason. However, I would say that some of the restaurants in Deauville are not great value or quality and prefer to eat in Trouville where there is better choice and value in my opinion. It is all down to personal taste, obviously many wealthy Parisians and foreign visitors like to be in Deauville, for the beach and top hotels. Relative to Trouville it is quite smart, but Trouville is more lively and overall more interesting. Next time, I will stay in Trouville although it is more of a walk to the casino.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Upon entering Bayeux we were stunned by the beauty of the Cathedral. The town itself was lovely and we enjoyed the markets. We were sad not to be able to see the Bayeux tapestry as it was being restored. No worries, we will just return in two years time. Of course, WWII had a huge impact on Normandy and Bayeux. We visited the landing beaches easily from Bayeux and the war museum at Bayeux is not to be missed. The largest second world war cemetery is to be found in Bayeux also.Guest review byCAMERONAustralia - 10.0

We arrived in late afternoon at hotel and toured island first in evening hours - great idea as less crowded and still light enough to wander the streets and alleys. Toured the abbey the next morning - around 11. Already getting crowded - should have started earlier. But well organized and flows well within the Abbey. Well worth the visit to see this unique and historic structure - magical.Guest review byPeterUnited States - 8.0

The cafés and restaurants all serve local fare, but if you're self-catering, the market and Carrefour shops in the centre have all you need to make some interesting meals. The little shops are excellent with lots of local souvenirs, but they're quite pricey. The castle is well worth a visit, including an amazing art gallery and information about the history of the Dieppe region. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area and some guides are available for interesting themed walks around the town. A pity the Pont Colbert is out of service as this causes lots of wasted time crossing the estuary.Guest review byEleanorUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The cliffs of Étretat are spectacular and definitely worth a visit, but note that lots of other people think that too! So there are crowds of people, tourists from all over the world in this small seaside town. Parking is difficult to find or you have to park 1,5 km away from the town center.Guest review byIEVAGermany - 10.0
