- From $111.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 2,245 reviewsWe loved our ocean facing room. Our second room was okay but across the building and down the hall. I was hoping to be closer to our second room (our kids are 8 and 13). We had to get 2 rooms because they didn’t have quads available. For Europe, the rooms were a good size. We were on the 6th floor and had a balcony off each room (please note they are lovely, but you can’t fit a chair on them like many balconies in Europe). Coffee was good and location is awesome. On the beach (you have to cross one road and you’re on the boardwalk). Every restaurant and cafe is walking s Distance and the Bac is just steps away. Beds were very comfortable. The older, stylish lady was lovely at every interaction at reception. She was very happy and helpful.Guest review byKyleUnited States
- From $724.73 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 3,370 reviewsOur room has been recently renovated and was well furnished and comfortable with plenty of room and a lovely outlook. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had breakfast and dinner included so it was great value. For a few extra euros, we could have the famous omelette which was delicious. Highly recommend staying overnight on the island. We were very glad to be able to see the village without the crowds and visit the Abbeye first thing, again without too many people.Guest review byRosAustralia

My husband and I were beyond impressed with the attention to detail and all the “little things”. They went above and beyond to accommodate our stay and made our last evening in France extra special. Our favorite part was the breakfast delivered to the room in the cutest little basket. We wished we spent more nights here!Guest review byShainaUnited States
- From $241.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 718 reviewsWe stayed here for 5 days four nights. It was a great location. We could walk for ice cream or dinner everyday and every night. I went to the beach often and found seaglass and really pretty stones. We had a couple massages that were great. We enjoyed the upstairs patio where we could lay out and read our books. The bartenders are very friendly and enjoyed having a drink every night.Guest review byamandaUnited States

Rouen is a beautiful city with an amazing history. The city has a beautiful mixture of very old And new buildings - the most half timbered houses in France. Fabulous dining choices and bars. Lovely vibe everywhere and excellent shopping. We loved NormandyGuest review byAnonymousFrance - 10.0

The Abbeys are stunning, the town is flat so easy to walk around. There are regular markets, the Sunday one we went to was quite big with lots of fresh food. The harbour is a nice spot with a line of bars and restaurants nearby, my favourite being an Irish bar (O'Donnells) for a well kept pint (or three) of Guinness!Guest review byRaymondUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful town.
Beautiful town. The Harbour is the main feature but the surrounding area is beautiful too. We caught a bus to Trouville and Deauville which are well worth a visit. From where we were staying it was a short walk to the beach through the ‘Le Jardin des Personnalities’ which was stunning. The beach is lovely with a great beach bar with a varied menu of meals and drinks and reasonably priced. From the beach you look across to Le Havre port which isn’t very scenic and you do have tankers going down the estuary but that didn’t deter anyone as plenty of people were in the sea.Guest review byLisaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I was in Deauville for the Bridge Festival, so chose the location for that reason. However, I would say that some of the restaurants in Deauville are not great value or quality and prefer to eat in Trouville where there is better choice and value in my opinion. It is all down to personal taste, obviously many wealthy Parisians and foreign visitors like to be in Deauville, for the beach and top hotels. Relative to Trouville it is quite smart, but Trouville is more lively and overall more interesting. Next time, I will stay in Trouville although it is more of a walk to the casino.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Bayeux is a 35 min taxi ride from the ferry in Ouistraham (which is Caen on their schedule). There are busses to nearby sites (Arromanches), but usually once per day is your option. You spend a lot more time relying on the bus, but taxis are very expensive and not plentiful. I loved the town of Bayeux itself-very quaint, and walkable. I found the Tourist Information center to be extremely helpful and they speak great English. She helped me with getting the bus, where to go, and how to pay (you need 2 Euros in cash-there is no cards on the bus).Guest review byJo AnnUnited States - 10.0

We arrived in late afternoon at hotel and toured island first in evening hours - great idea as less crowded and still light enough to wander the streets and alleys. Toured the abbey the next morning - around 11. Already getting crowded - should have started earlier. But well organized and flows well within the Abbey. Well worth the visit to see this unique and historic structure - magical.Guest review byPeterUnited States - 8.0

The cafés and restaurants all serve local fare, but if you're self-catering, the market and Carrefour shops in the centre have all you need to make some interesting meals. The little shops are excellent with lots of local souvenirs, but they're quite pricey. The castle is well worth a visit, including an amazing art gallery and information about the history of the Dieppe region. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area and some guides are available for interesting themed walks around the town. A pity the Pont Colbert is out of service as this causes lots of wasted time crossing the estuary.Guest review byEleanorUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The cliffs of Étretat are spectacular and definitely worth a visit, but note that lots of other people think that too! So there are crowds of people, tourists from all over the world in this small seaside town. Parking is difficult to find or you have to park 1,5 km away from the town center.Guest review byIEVAGermany - 10.0
