We can really recomend this hotel. We found there everything we needed during our stay, perfect breakfast, parking, nice clean room with a spacious balcony. Also the staff was very nice and warm welcoming, especcially the breakfast manager Otman, who also adviced us with an exceptional places to visit close to Cannes. The hotel staff welcomed me warmly and I really liked their HOWTO paper with all the very handy instructions. The room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel has a cozy courtyard with tables. It is surrounded by trees and very quiet as there is no road nearby. 5 mins to the beach, 15 mins to the train station

Beautiful small hotel overlooking the local plaza. Even though the morning market and the late afternoon carousel for the children were overlooked by our window it was still very quiet in the room. The staff were exceptional and helpful, and gave good recommendations for sightseeing. Bus to Monaco and Eze was easy. Beaulieu Sur Mer is a beautiful small town and I highly recommend the hotel and the town. I would love to return to both.

    We visited in late September and the weather was fabulous...

    We visited in late September and the weather was fabulous and whilst we stayed in the Old Port section of the city we were able to access most of the key sites and attractions on foot. Would recommend the one hour coastal cruise as it was a quick way to see Nice from the water. Lots of eateries and bars to suit all budgets. Take time, and make the effort to visit Castle Hill where you can enjoy breathtaking views from the top of the hill where the Castle of Nice once stood. Castle Hill, which towers over Nice’s historic core, is the most popular park in town. Hike uphill through a set of winding trails or take the free elevator to the top, though be prepared to queue at busy times. The park is worth visiting any time of the day with great views over the Promenade des Anglais, Old Port and surrounds. A cannon shot goes off at noon every day.

    An extreme place - a bit unreal for the average person but a must see. Wealth there is astonishing. Immense range of restaurant options. Full of beautiful places, yachts, cars and people. Would recommend to go at least once. Very similar to Monte Carlo

    there are no 5star hotel groups there.. no Mario's or sheratons or Hiltons ? wonder why ?? the hotels are overpriced for the value we get. But the city is lovely and a very nice place to visit. Ie. the Breakfast place where we stay - the older generation with old mentality are Races and Rude, but the new younger generation are very nice and polite. I thin the older ones have their pains in the Ass..s to worry

    Enjoyed swimming, walking along the sea front and the ports and having coffee overlooking the sea front. Didn’t really see the uphill historic part, which I regret. The Tourist office at Saint Raphael was helpful as I needed a bus timetable. I’d say you need to be reasonably fit ( or have a car) to stay in the area I was in as in fact buses were few and far between so I did a lot of walking. I was on an Interrail pass so also enjoyed a little side trip out to Nice, which has good and frequent rail links with Saint Raphael.

    We like to fly into Nice and head to Saint Raphael as it’s a large coastal town with a harbour but smaller than Nice and beautiful promenade and many restaurants . I can swim in the sea everyday and grab the sun . It’s a lovely town . Very easy to grab a bus for day trips to other places or a train. We love heading to St Tropez for a day trip . A lovely bus trip . Cheap and great views of the coastline . Also Agay is beautiful resort . You could do Cannes . I’m not sure as regards nightlife as we are are here to relax . There is a harbour and yachts aplenty . So there are options to indulge in sea/ water activities . There is a Monoprix supermarket on same street as large church and few minutes into front of train station . Various Pharmacies . (Important to note that as of this year you cannot purchase strong painkillers from a pharmacy in France . It’s by presciption only . So if you need or require some ensure you take them with you .) .great boulangeries and cheesemongers . There’s also a fruit , veg , Fish market worth a visit . Saint Raphael is all walkable and I spotted many visitors who were wheelchair users . So access appears to be good here . We usually return to Nice for 2or 3 days for more of a city vibe .

    It's simply wonderful.

    It's simply wonderful. The town is just the right size, not too big yet not too small. All the facilities are within walking distance. There are lots of bars, reataurants and shops, including supermarkets. The beach is great, too. It's not overcrowded. The prices in some eatieries might seem too high, but it's possible to find some affordable places.

    I know Montecarlo for many years .

    I know Montecarlo for many years . In my opinion it has not improved but deteriorated. The public of today is definitely made of people who want to be seen in Monaco or are looking to snap a fortune. The casino unheard off requires a passport and an entrance fee. It looks like they are desperate to make money in the absence of habitual rich gamblers

    Beausoleil is within walking distance of the centre of Monaco and much more affordable than Monaco accommodation. There is a hop on, hop off bus but most things are within walking distance if you are of a reasonable fitness and you get a better feel of the place too. Food can be relatively inexpensive, so you don't have to spend a fortune. Great place to stay for a couple of days and see all the sights.
