- From $342.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 589 reviewsFrom the moment we checked in we felt all the travel stress disappear. When you are taken away from reception to sit down while checking in with a glass of sparkling wine you know you are in for a great experience. We stayed in the Newport suite and it is truly one of the prettiest, largest rooms we have stayed at in Europe. It has a deck that leads right to the water, an incredible bed, bathtub, shower and sitting area. We were blown away. Franck the GM and Gregory the bartender went out of their way to make us feel so VIP. The pool was great despite the wind, we found a nice area to sunbathe. The food is exceptional here. We had breakfast and dinner and were so impressed. We also had a private wine tasting to learn more about the region. Truly can't say enough and are already dreaming of returning! Thank youGuest review byBrancoUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 306 reviewsFrom the beginning to the end everything was perfect! Nicolas was very helpful since the pre-arrival till we checked out! He helped us with a lot of suggestions about what to do in the region. Everything went well. The lady who served us breakfast every day was also amazing and very friendly. Your room us cleans and made up by the time you are having breakfast. The pool/jacuzzi area is so incredible, very peaceful. Overall we had a great time and would surely recommend the place.Guest review byNadiimNetherlands

As a vegan they had plenty of options for me. The location was beautiful. There was a great parking lot for those who are driving. The spa is phenomenal! There were so many rooms and it was very spacious so it never felt overcrowded. The inside of the hotel is beyond beautiful, modern, but still has its charm of an old convent. The staff were friendly and helpful.Guest review byNatalieUnited States

Some people will tell you that the neighboring cities -- Eze, Ville Franche, Menton, are better to use as your main hub, but there is not much else to do once you've looked at all the beautiful scenery there. Nice, on the other hand, was full of night life after a long day spent elsewhere and had so much to do as you walked along the Avenue des Anglais. We could go "home" after visiting the other villages, rest up, then go out for a night cap! Getting around was easy -- walk! -- or take the tram, which took you every direction in the city. We treated ourselves to a beautiful seaside lunch at Nissachic, right on the "boardwalk." Highly recommend getting the Pass Sud d'Azur for travelling around. Vieux Nice, where we stayed, was so full of charm and character, with its narrow, winding streets and cafes everywhere! We even ended our trip on the last day at the Irish bar "The Snug," which had open mic night and was just wonderfully fun!Guest review byMaryUnited States - 8.0

The city has two polar opposites, the touristy all polished places and the very narrow dirty little streets. I only got to see this because we arrived in the city with a car very late at nigh (early in the morning) 3:30am, and we missed a turn to get to our hotel so the navigation took us into different one way alleys and it was surprisingly lively and busy (not in a good way) at that time of the night. Otherwise on the typical tourist attractions everything seems normal, you see diversity of people, a lot of options for food and good atmosphere. We even witnessed a protest going on and still felt safe.Guest review byAngelaNorth Macedonia - 10.0

An extreme place - a bit unreal for the average person but a must see. Wealth there is astonishing. Immense range of restaurant options. Full of beautiful places, yachts, cars and people. Would recommend to go at least once. Very similar to Monte CarloGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

It is a marvellous city- stunningly beautiful with a chill, friendly and confident vibe. People are very kind to people with little spoken French and most speak quite good English. The food is great and prices reasonable. Being able to either walk everywhere or use the frequent, comprehensive trams makes exploration a pleasure. Overall, a truly special place.Guest review bySarahTurkey - 10.0

This is an ideal weekend location lovely old welly feel to the place you must stay in the inner city/old town. Lots of lovely squares with street musicians, loads of bars and restaurants has a nice market on some days. We saw the CEZANNE exhibition which was great.Guest review byTraceyUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We stayed in a hotel within the walls and that was lovely (...
We stayed in a hotel within the walls and that was lovely (Auberge des Lices) and we visited the old town as well as the city. So much to see and do! This was our second visit and we were not disappointed (other than the note below). A slight caveat as one of party was disabled is that the walled City is not particularly disabled friendly. Those who stay in the other lovely hotels are afforded luggage transfer but those less fortunate with mobilty have to struggle waith bags and have to be able to walk quite a few hundred metres to get to a gate other than the main entrance which is the nearest to the Cite car parks. A golf cart type facility would I am sure assist even if there was a charge... Just saying :-)Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The owners are very responsive.
The owners are very responsive. The place is very clean and having everything needed in the kitchen. On the top, we found water in the fridge, some delicious catalan cookies and coffee for the morning. The apartment has air condition. The neighbors are nice, so it is quite.Guest review byLauraBelgium - 10.0
Menton is beautiful.
Menton is beautiful. A perfect stop along a fab coastline of towns and villages both in France and over the border in Italy. The town itself is buzzing with cafes, shops and restaurants. The old world charm of the town remains and it isn't over- commercialised. Beaches are lovely, with warm, clear water, mind the stony sand though. The area felt unspolit. An ideal spot to base yourself to travel around the regions, close to Nice airport, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Italy. Public transport was fine, trains and Ubers, local buses were infrequent. We loved The New Bar on the pier, a basic pub with music and friendly staff. Menton is hilly, especially around Menton Garavan (port area) so avoid if you've mobility issues or young children, better to locate in the town itself. Recommend a sunrise swim, beautiful to see the sun rise and reach the Basicilica St Michael, a must visit tourist site.Guest review bymaeveIreland - 10.0
We visited Arles for the photography exhibition.
We visited Arles for the photography exhibition. It was great seeing all the old buildings and how the exhibits were spread throughout the old City. There are many great restaurants and bars. The Saturday market was really good too!Guest review byJulie PaulAustralia
