We stayed in many different places while visiting Ireland, and the Ballygalley castle was our favorite. The property is absolutely stunning, inside and out. The gardens were gorgeous and expansive and the ocean views spectacular. The room was big and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The woman in reception booked us dinner reservations in the hotel restaurant (which was also delicious!). The lounge has a Game of Thrones Tea and you can see the door used in the series

Everything! Wow, what an experience. The food, environment, rooms, and spa were incredible. I loved experiencing all of the different spa amenities- the steam room, hot tubs, cool room, and sea salt spa were all amazing. I felt so relaxed and refreshed, and wished I could have more time! We had dinner at Gilly's and breakfast in the Conservatory, and staff were incredibly mindful and accommodating of any dietary modifications. The food and drinks were all delicious. I cannot wait to return to this place.

We ticked off many of our bucket list items Giants Causway and Titanic but most surprising was the political black cab tours which i would recommend to everyone. If you dont usually drink Guinness do try it while you are here it is completely different to back home, we went to Whites and felt like we were getting a genuine Irish experience.

Bushmills is an historic town, not only home to the eponymous whiskey, it is at the heart of the stunning North Antrim Coast with all its amazing attractions. It is also becoming a bit of a foodie hub with several fabulous restaurants such as The Townhouse and Tartine. Magden specialist cheese and coffee shop is a local icon. Bushmills Inn is a must. Splash out on an Irish coffee if the budget does not run to dinner or a stay. Mike’s cafe does excellent hearty daily roasts as well as Thai specials. Excellent Gallery and Craft shops. Easy travel links across the North Coast.

There are some well-known spots worth visiting, like the Giant’s Causeway — though maybe a bit overrated. Let’s say it’s a must for first-time visitors. A really positive and unexpected surprise was visiting Belfast and the Titanic Experience — we really enjoyed it!

I sent my evaluation of Smart Home in Larne allready earlier and asked the owner some refund of our money, she was very rude. We did not get what was promised, for ex. the whole appartment for ourself, we are two elderly ladies and there was a man staying in the other small bedroom, his stuff all over the place, we did not know who owned food in the fridge. We did not touch it, even the promised breakfast with freshly-baked pastries never arrived. The coffee in the kitchen jar was dryed out, and did not come out of the jar, milk smelt bad, the kitchen towel was discustingly dirty, the microwave oven was dirty. The man next door arrived sometimes 01.00 o'clock with a woman, both were drunk, and were vomiting - discusting and an unsecure feeling. We do deserve some of our money back. There a couple of good pubs in Ballintoy. Ballintoy harbour is wonderful and its nice to walk along to Elephants Rock passed the unusual rock formation. From the harbour, there is a great view of Sheep Island and if the tide is low, one has great access to White Park Bay Beach and to Port Braden. There is plenty of hostels, guest houses, airbnb to stay in.
