What an unexpected find! I had no idea what this facility would be like...it is on the grounds of a racetrack. It was fantastic! I think we booked our rooms in the non-racing season, so it was a terrific bargain. Since there were 3 of us, we had to book 2 rooms, but it was so affordable, we didn't mind! Very clean, quiet, and welcoming!

We stayed at the Berkshire Arms for reading festival weekend … we are not campers the hotel was away from reading enough maybe 25 minute drive , our hotel room had a huge comfy bed which after walking and dance round the festival all day was amazing to come back to , and seriously the best shower, hot and powerful ! The staff were all lovely, smilie and helpful at all times .

Beautiful, historic hotel. The morning breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. Great location. Right next to the Windsor Castle as well as the Thames River and all of its wonderful shopping areas. They also have a spa with massages available. Friendly staff.

The Stag and Huntsman exceeded expectations. We stayed in one of the two cottages, which was clean, comfortable, and had enough room to spread out. We loved waking up in the morning to the sun pouring through the windows and hearing the doves and peacocks next door. The food was good, the staff was helpful, and the back lawn is a great place for drinks and dinner in the evening. We also enjoyed meeting the resident dog, Griffindore. We will be back
