Breakfast was outstanding. Staff were outstanding and so helpful. Location was listed near town, but it was far from town. It was, however, near the beautiful Cobo Bay, with the most beautiful sunsets.

Beautifully restored historic property at the quiet end of picturesque St. Aubin harbor, close to shops and restaurants. Good breakfast was included, and I also had great meals in the restaurant. Single room was well-appointed, with a nice view; a little small but had great closet storage and an excellent full-size bath. Staff were very pleasant. The location was convenient for the bus connections to the airport and St. Helier, and scenic walks began almost right outside the door.

Used the public bus service to get around sightseeing.

Used the public bus service to get around sightseeing. We visited St Brelade's, St Aubin, the shops at Red Houses and Jersey Pearl. Also took a daytrip by sea to Guernsey (this was booked before we left home) the trip was terminated before the return sailing due to high winds/rough weather but the tour of the island was excellent and the tour company arranged and paid for flights back to Jersey. Jersey is nicely compact and has plenty to see and do even if you don't go for the beaches (we didn't)

There were many things to see and do from museums, a castle, great food and spectacular roads. Fresh seafood was amazing. Found a great little gin distillery too. The roads are scary, very narrow and lots of road works. Don't drive there if you are not happy reversing. We struggled to get to some places due to the roadworks everywhere.

The area of St Clements is lovely, great sandy beaches with free parking and clean public conveniences, and a few lovely pubs to eat at. Like the quietness of the Vale, away from the town centre, tucked away at the end of the island. I love the location of the peninsula hotel facing the ocean, the sun rise is amazing in the early hours of the morning all golden really beautiful. Going to the town centre you need a bus , it runs hourly week day and 2hourly week end. Taxis are hard to come bye and expensive, book with the hotel 24rs pre. The food in the hotel is nice but a bit pricey you don't really have much choice no nearby restaurants.

We had the castle behind us and the harbour in front of us which we were able to see from our room. The castle was worth a visit and the harbour and sea coming in and out was pleasant to view with a glass in your hand. Easy access to all over the island,we like history so were able to see the war tunnels and museum. I think we were staying in the right place, away from the hustle and bustle of the capital and other busy places.
