My wife and I and our dog were delighted with our stay at the Finnygook Inn. We spent one night on our hike along the Coastal Path. We arrived in the late afternoon and settled into a clean, tidy, and spacious room with a lovely view of town. The room had a mini fridge, coffee machine, hot water kettle, and the bathroom had a tub. We enjoyed an exceptional, memorable dinner in the Inn's restaurant, where the bar was bustling and the dining room was full, and each dish we ordered was delicious. After a good night's rest, we departed in the morning. We are especially grateful for the chef's generous gifting of a breakfast sausage to our puppy, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely return.

Lovely parks and gardens, plenty of shopping, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and places of historic interest. Would recommend the Admiral Benbow Inn. Town and seaside location. Long promenade - you can walk right to Newlyn. Plenty of taxis, bus and train station within walking distance. Near St. Michael's Mount and good transport for all tourist attractions such as The Eden Project, Landsend, the Minack Theatre, and Mousehole. Good access to the South West Coastal path leading to unspoilt coves. I didn't have a car but no problems getting around. Would recommend walking from Sennen Cove to Landsend. A little over a mile but quite steep at beginning and it will take a while as you will want to stop often to take in the views, the geology and to take photos. Landsend hotel for food and drink and Landsend experience worth the walk. You can bus back to your hotel!

Apart from the cathedral there was not much else . We had based ourselves in Truro to visit Tresillik National Trust which in spite of being in great location was rather dissappointing having visited Lanhydrock earlier in the day which was superb. The house in Tressilick was very limited and appeared to be mainly used in lieu of the more usual excellent NT restaurant.

Tintagel is wonderful, and it’s very easy to get around, even when travelling to nearby places such as Boscastle. I visited the Old Post Office, an amazing building that is absolutely worth seeing. And, of course, Tintagel Castle! The walk there is spectacular, and the views from the castle are breathtaking. The castle itself is fantastic, with an incredible atmosphere.
