    The Royal An Lochan, Tighnabruaich

    The Royal An Lochan

    9.1 Superb 126 reviews
Description In a beachside setting in the picturesque village of Tighnabruaich, The Royal an Lochan Hotel offers a restaurant with fresh, local seafood and rooms with sea views.

"The warm welcome and the courtesy and care of the staff at all times, the food, the views and the art display. The dinner in the evening was delicious and the menu wide-ranging. Our very large room, with enormous ensuite bathroom, had two windows giving double aspect views over the whole bay, so we were able to sit in the comfortable armchairs in our room and watch the yachts sailing into Tighnabruaich for the evening. The public rooms downstairs had similar tranquil views over the water. The breakfast was lovely, kipper with poached egg for one and full Scottish for the other, preceded by whatever we wanted from the copious buffet. Can't rate it too highly - an excellent hotel. I shall return whenever I can."
