- From $152.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 1,318 reviewsI thought everything was absolutely incredible. I'm aware that a refurbishment is happening soon. I really hope that the refurbishment doesn't take the charm and character away. The current style of interior design is perfect. Nicer Televisions would be a good spend of the budget. Leather sofas would be amazing. Also, Bath matts would be nice as well. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect and I can see myself spending a lot of time here in the future as long as the price is right. :) I really enjoyed my stay and would like to say that Samantha at reception was absolutely fantastic. She had a brilliant smile. I can't remember the names of the other three gents but they were fantastic too. Compliments to the Chef my Eggs Benedict was amazing. The night Porter was very friendly. The Managers were incredibly helpful and the F&B Assistant was a very hard worker. Overall an incredible stay and would definitely recommend.Guest review byWilkoUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 183 reviewsExcellent throughout booking and our stay. We were travelling just before storm Bert took hold, and were allowed to book in early and given a parking permit to use for the weekend. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable, with lots of small touches to make our stay effortless. The fridge with welcome drinks and fresh milk available 24/7.Breakfast was unique, never had a hamper of scrumptious food delivered to my room door in a hamper before. Not only was the food scrumptious, there was plenty for both of us. Then there was the “treat” on Sunday. Homemade Tiramisu, the best we’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning in the near future.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom

Weymouth was one if England's loveliest seaside towns.
Weymouth was one if England's loveliest seaside towns. It has become rundown and drab although there are some small signs of recovery. The council has made a serious of very bad decisions over the last 15 years. A terrible shame.Guest review byJoshUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Dorchester is a quaint town that is always a pleasure to visit. It has a brilliant market and there are plenty of shops to visit. It it well served with different museums and the Tutankhamun and Terracotta Army ones are a definite visit for me. There are also plenty of cafes to have some amazing food.Guest review byAnnetteUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Great family location, lots of restaurants to choose from. Only minor issue, you need to try and book tables during high season as a lot of places were very busy. We only found one place where you could book online.Guest review byGreg and Jane - 10.0

I spent most of my childhood in Dorset and know the seaside towns well. Lyme Regis is great for all ages, there are restaurants, a good beach, boat trips, fishing trips, a museum, interesting shops and the Town Mill area to explore. The town has supermarkets, chemists, clothes, book stores too. There are also guided walks and fossil hunting to do. You can walk to the end of the Cobb, on top or beside it and get amazing views of the coast and town. There are backwaters to go along too as well as taking in the views from Langmoor Gardens. It is one of Dorset's gems.Guest review byAlexiUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Staying in a place on the pier was nice: we barbecued there while the kids were crabbing. The place itself is a little outdated, many closed restaurants (in a bank holiday weekend in august...) but we had a car there so we went elsewhere. Beautiful little beach, cosy flee market on sunday.Guest review byDirkBelgium - 10.0

Blandford Forum had a lovely park with a large waterlily pond (would be so amazing to visit this in May or whenever the lilies flower!) and a pleasant river walk . The town had a nice place to have a drink (The Crown Hotel) and a Morrisons which was convenient as well as some coffee shops and small unusual shops. There were some lovely charity shops and the town was a welcome refuge from the more busier places we could have visited. I went to the fashion museum. It was a pleasant small town.Guest review byMagentaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Sherborne is my hometown, so I am biased!
Sherborne is my hometown, so I am biased! It is a beautiful old town with the superb Sherborne Abbey in the centre. Plenty to do and see in and around Sherborne, a car is definitely needed to see other sites. The Three Wishes, at the bottom of Cheap Street, is a lovely restaurant with a very good menu.Guest review byMargaret RuthUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Portland is great for a weekend of walking as the paths round the island are well signposted and very scenic. The Art cafe in Easton was great with delicious cakes and a secret garden. We walked back into Weymouth along the old railway line, which is recommended.Guest review byRachelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A lovely village with some interesting history. The museum was good with helpful staff. We visited the infamous Gold Hill, where the 1973 Hovis advert was filmed. Found a great little coffee shop opposite the town hall.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom
