We were looking a for a quiet place with an easy 10min drive that had Tescos and train station to Edinburgh. Fantastic. You have to take into account, it is a pod - it's cosy and lovely. Nicola, the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was a bother. Highly recommend.

There was a free parking lot a 2 minute walk away. The apartment was lovely and very spacious: living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower (hot and good water pressure). We used the clothes washing machine that was there too. Within walking distance of North Berwick golf course 10 minutes.

The property has sea and garden views, and is 42 km from Arthurs Seat. A public car park is located nearby. Lovely homely touches, even milk in the fridge for a cuppa upon arrival.

Lovely modern smart TV, nice, well stocked kitchen, shower and bath. Nice views over the river but only 2 mins walk from high street. Tescos literally over the road too and beach 5 mins drive away. Easy access instructions and parking readily available. It was home away from home. Price wise, Edinburgh pricing is generally high (and rugby world cup was on) so whilst not inexpensive it is comparable.
