- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 484 reviewsExcellent bar none. We enjoyed a few nights stay post-christmas for our wedding anniversary. Every member of their staff is exceptional. Expect professional and friendly service and knowledgable recommendations. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The elegant touches make the experience from the heated bathroom floor to rose petals for our anniversary. The experience truly is end-to-end - we have never had such a smooth check-out, from our room to the town car in less than 5 blissful minutes. Keen to return!Guest review byVeronicaAustralia

London was visited this year, but was found to be a lot more...
London was visited this year, but was found to be a lot more expensive than we had anticipated. Our schedule of places to be visited required that we had to use taxis for transport, only to find that a 30 minute journey cost the 2 of us, 35 GBP, and we noticed that in the central London area the speed limit was only 20 MPH. We visited Madame Tussauds and thoroughly enjoyed the 4.0 hours spent inside. A "must visit" location. Our next place to visit , was The Tower of London, and was worth the time spent there. We had booked to see "Wicked" at the Apollo Theatre, and the performance was exceptional, and would recommend it to any one young or old. the cost of 92 GBP was worth every penny. Historically just over 700 performances have been acted. We ate at Wagamamas just up the road from the hotel. Most eateries were closed after 7:30 PMGuest review byJarrahturnerAustralia - 10.0
The best city in the UK.
The best city in the UK. I have studies there and visit it frequently every year. Friendly people, nice food, many activities and close to many cities around. Easy to reach the north and south of the UK. Manchester Airport is very convenient.Guest review byHasanainBahrain - 10.0

Liverpool is a vibrant city with a great mix of history, culture and architecture. The people are so friendly and welcoming. So much to see and do and it’s not all about The Beatles. You definitely need more than a couple of nights to get the most out of your visit. Great for live music. Lovely waterfront. Good choice of restaurants. Easy to get about on foot but also great public transport and good availability of taxis. Both Anglican and catholic cathedrals are worth a visit. The cavern club is a must see. I would recommend going in the daytime for great live music.Guest review bysandraUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It’s a shame you couldn’t walk around the pleasure beach fun fair without having to pay an entrance fee like you used to be able to years ago . Felt like you were missing out. Too old for rides but young enough to walk round it. Blackpool was kept very clean by the council workers , excellent job there. Lots to see and do .Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Full of diversity and colourful people.
Full of diversity and colourful people. We had everything we needed on the doorstep, local shops, places to eat clubs, bars ect the team was a great, easy and cheap way to get around. Lots can be explored on foot, the museum is definitely worth a visit. We went to Tonight Josephine and had a blast, the drag queen's are awesome, cocktails were excellent The following night we went to Box, such a great place we'd go back again for sure. Great cocktails again and pricing was reasonable. Zizzi for food, but a.local weatherspoon is also a good place.for good cheap grub!!Guest review byAndrew - 10.0

The beauty of York Minster and the historic charm of the...
The beauty of York Minster and the historic charm of the Shambles is noteworthy as is the tranquility of the riverside walk and peaceful York Museum park. My wife is wheelchair bound and York’s pavements and walkways are very hard to negotiate. Cracked, uneven paving and cobbles with dropped kerbs so poorly engineered as to be unfit for purpose. Pushing a wheelchair in York centre is far from easy. Come on York City Council you can do better than this!Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Location iscideal for our terminal.
Location iscideal for our terminal. We booked the airport taxis from the machine in the foyer. Which was easy to use and reliable. Only stayed the 1 night before our early flight the next day. We did not arrive at the hotel until after 22:30 pm.Guest review byJudithUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The 'Great Western' ship (built by Brunel) was interesting). The 'Concorde Museum' was great! The last Concorde that flew.! I went over to the coast to Portishead and was amazed by the 10 meter tidal range. See the locks operate when the sailboats go in or out of the yacht basin.(In the Florida Keys we only have about 1 foot tide range!)Guest review byRobertUnited States - 8.0
the location, price, breakfast was good.
the location, price, breakfast was good. Let down by the parking fee @ £20, room small, toiletries very cheap, used my own. Went for a funeral so didn't look around, but went to the city center for food as more choice for Gluten Free.Guest review bySuzieUnited Kingdom
