Everything you could want or need immediately at your fingertips. Quaint but with modern creature comforts, they have literally thought of everything. Impeccable service all around and knowledgeable staff on all things Stow. The food, especially breakfast, was superb. We brought a large group to the lounge/bar after a family funeral and it was a great gathering with lovely cocktails. Thank you for turning an emotional and challenging trip into a bright spot full of warmth and fond memories for myself and my mom. We will be back soon for more! With gratitude, Sarah and Dot

This was my 4th trip to Gloucester so I have seen many of the sights before. The Cathedral is the main site to see. The cloisters have the most beautiful fan-vaulting stone work that I have ever seen in a Cathedral. Harry Potter fans will enjoy them as some scenes from the films were shot there. There are several quite old pubs in Gloucester which are well worth visiting plus it was a Roman town so there are some Roman ruins dotted about.

We loved the walks around the town and the restaurants and parks. Very big old trees, the statues of the hare. The parish in Watermore was very welcoming when we joined the congregation for worship on Sunday. Unfortunately, the air raid shelter seems to have closed for the public. We would have liked to visit it. The roundabouts are very complicated and difficult to negotiate.

Lovely old village, lots of small businesses and eateries. Very picturesque and well sited for exploration of the Cotswolds. Lovely antique shops and a candle shop were my favourite with the Motor Museum a close second. Walking along the riverbank in the evening was very relaxing. The village is easy to get around but there are a lot of tourists which could make using a mobility scooter hard work - lots of seats along the riverbank.

Our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold was charming and peaceful – cobbled streets, cosy tea rooms, and friendly locals at every turn. We wandered through antique shops, enjoyed hearty pub meals, and soaked in the Cotswolds’ timeless beauty. The perfect blend of relaxation and little adventures. Oh, and the cocktails! 🍸 We’ll definitely be back.

Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town.

Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town. There’s a market there on Tuesdays. Great places to eat gorgeous fish and chip bar. The black bear Inn fantastic food. Bellini Italian restaurant fantastic. Stay away from the Thai restaurant (SIAM COTTAGE THAI) cold food which we waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for. Service below poor. Plus if you order soft drinks (J2O) they share the bottle between 2 glasses and charge for 2. We used go guide to see around the Cotswolds Elaine the guide was fabulous we visited many places Bourton on the water, Snowshill where Bridget Jones (first one) was filmed, chipping Campden, Cirencester - Bibury etc

I believe Chipping Campden to be overall the best location in the Cotswolds. It has everything you need including pubs, a cocktail bar, restaurants, shops, a small mini-market, and the high street is picturesque and atmospheric. Just a lovely little town with great access to the rest of the Cotswolds. Da Luigi Italian restaurant is a particular find, with wonderful food and very friendly service.

Lovely place to visit, The Abbey is a must, a walk around the back streets is recommended, so many old houses & buildings, I don't think any of them had a proper even roof , The walk along the river is lovely, some very nice coffee shops on the way, some over looking the river, so very leisurely, I would say the only downside we found was the amount of traffic on the main road , so make sue to use the crossings.
