Set beside a gentle stream, the grounds exude a peaceful, almost sacred quality. The soothing sound of the water, the lush greenery, and the overall tranquillity make Spean Lodge feel more like a retreat than just accommodation. This is more than a place to stay—it’s an experience that lingers. We left feeling restored and grateful. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, authenticity, and a touch of magic in the Highlands.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The Old Schoolhouse provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The property has mountain and garden views. There is private parking and the property offers an electric vehicle charging station. Great house, newly refurbished and clean. Sad that we could only stay for one night. It would be definitely worth staying for a few days.
