- From $271.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 848 reviewsWe absolutely loved our balcony room overlooking the beach. The bed was very large and very comfortable. The staff were all really kind and accommodating. The bar area by the fireplace is super cozy, and we snagged the couch by the fire the two evenings we were there. The breakfast was delicious and portions are generous. The hotel is ideally located right by the beach and the town of Deal. We will definitely be back!Guest review byPerryUnited Kingdom

We booked an overnight stay as we have stayed at the hotel before several times and found that it’s a good central location for the harbour etc. the buffet was disappointing. It was much better the previous time we stayed. The food was not enjoyable. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, so we will return and skip the buffet dinner.Guest review byDebbieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We very much enjoyed touring Canterbury.
We very much enjoyed touring Canterbury. We walked about the old town, had tea and scones, toured the Cathedral and participated in the 530 Evensong and then had a nice pub dinner at the Parrot Pub. We walked along part of the city walls. Highly recommended for history.Guest review byGordonUnited States - 8.0

The Dover Castle was lots of fun and was well organized for visitors of all ages. The war tunnels on the other hand were poorly organized and should be reorganized in order to help make them more interesting. The films on the walls explaining the historical events were difficult to understand due to the echo. The significance of the tunnels could be made more hands on for the younger generation to grasp. The Cliffs of Dover- easily a days experience and excellent hike and picnic opportunities along the way.Guest review byEllenIsrael - 10.0

Debbie is an excellent hostess - her breakfast spread is above par in presentation, taste and portions. She has a bubbly character and is generally very concerned with each guest's comfort during the stay and appetite at the breakfast table. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with snacks and toiletries. Should I need to be in the Ashford area, I will definite choose her B&B for the entire duration of my stay.Guest review byAndrew LW LeeSingapore - 10.0
Good choice of shops and restaurants.
Good choice of shops and restaurants. Good transport links if no car, i.e. regular buses for local trips or nearby towns including Hastings and Tunbridge and Railway Station (Hastings an hour away by train). Worth a visit to Museum and Art Gallery. Lovely parks including Calverley Park - easily accessible from town (walking) for a coffee or ice cream! Enjoy!!Guest review byAudreyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

My wife and I were born and brought up in Kent, so think it's special, even though we moved away years ago. Margate has developed extensively on the back of the Turner gallery, but there is also much to admire off the beaten track, particularly as the once-tired traditional seaside resorts, like Folkestone become more popular. Less well advertised attractions like the Wildwood Trust or the Brogdale National Heritage fruit tree collection are well worth a visit. Towns like Faversham and Whitstable have managed to retain their traditional feel with small specialist shops,Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Fairly quiet, enough to keep us interested. Loved the Pavilion and the new bar/restaurant nearby on the beach. There was a lovely coastal path walk to Broadstairs. We appreciated the quiet whereas Broadstairs was rammed!Guest review byJoannaUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We come every year
We come every year Not a shopping place if wanting big name stores . The town is small and easy to access. Lovely main sands and small bit of beach near the flat was nice and tidal pool easy to access We ate at mechanical elephant and Peter fish and chips. Margatevis easy to access 8 had no young children but we have accessed the escape rooms shell grotto chalk caves and Walpole Bay hotel for cream teas . We were able to get a none bus to Canterbury from right outside the flat .Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The room itself was clean and tidy. Once in the room found the tv wouldn't work properly and bought the staff up and they couldn't get it to work either.
