A pleasant Leicestershire pub with a few well maintained clean rooms. Was allowed to check in early at no extra cost. If you’re a chubster you may find it difficult to get into the very small bathroom in Room 6 as the bed restricts the opening of the door. Tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, TV but no iron, ample car parking spaces. The pub has a wide choice of food & drinks served by helpful, friendly staff. Would I stay again? Yes.

Very nice grounds. Staff very attentive and courteous. Excellent breakfast. Very nice patio sitting areas. Theatre well established and the show excellent. Bedroom spacious and comfortable. King size beds, comfortable. The extensive walking areas are a must. There are picnic areas for people attending theatre but not staying in the hotel. This is an ideal location in Leicestershire countryside close to junction 20 of M1.

When booking this property it was all about the location for us as we were going to a wedding at Brooksby Hall. So to be fair the location was great for us, however if you were wanting a weekend in Leicestershire to visit Melton and surrounding towns I would suggest going else where. This is for sure a travelers hotel seeing as it is directly on the A46 (That was even our view from the room).

The staff member was extremely polite, helpful, friendly and welcoming I couldn't fault her at all - she really went the extra mile. The food was really nice, the overall experience was perfect - I stay in hotels in Leicestershire every week and this is the first time I've not left the hotel to eat or drink and I am so glad I did stay there, as it was fully enjoyable. 10/10

The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The room was cosy and the bathroom had running water - what more could one want? The cooked breakfast was delicious. Meeting Hilary was a pleasure and hearing about her plans for the future. We wish her well, and if we visit Leicestershire again would happily stay there once more. Liked the horses which reminded me of my late uncle.

The hotel was well located on the border of Leicestershire and Warwickshire, close (but felt further away) to major transport routes. The natural surrounds of the hotel were beautiful! The hotel itself was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful guesthouse in rural Leicestershire with lovely décor and facilities, and a lovely welcome from Evie on arrival. A bonus to be able to book some spa treatments - I had a wonderful hot stone massage during our stay.

Staff, owners, comfort, beautiful setting, history of the Manor. A fantastic place to stay or venue to entertain. Easy to get to but secluded in the rolling hills and wood of this part of Leicestershire.

Very nice room (135). Biscuits on the tea tray! We liked that :) The room was spotless. We stayed two nights so didn't need the room cleaned until we checked out but when we came back later on the second day there was a bag of extra towels, sheets etc in case needed anything else!! We didn't use the restaurant as we were eating at the home of our family so we opted for a coffee and a tea before leaving the hotel. The presentation was very nice... with quality tea and coffee. At one moment I had a coughing fit (due to flying to the UK!) and one of the staff take over to our table to ask if I would like some water...so sweet of her to notice. Based on our overall excellent experience at the Link we have already booked for two nights at the beginning in December! As long as our family are living near Loughborough we will be stay at the Link...and recommending the hotel to friends and family.

The hotel has a fascinating history with a knights templar chapel and the room in which William Wilberforce drafted the Abolition of Slavery Bill.
