You either Love or Hate Skegness, we love it.
You either Love or Hate Skegness, we love it. Plenty to do even if the weather is poor. People are all friendly. The shopping is good, lots of places to eat, some lovely cafe's and good traditional "greasy spoons". Could feed a family of four quite easily if on a limited budget. Just a nice traditional seaside holiday. We are animal lovers so use Skegness as a base to visit, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park a twenty minute drive away and Lincoln Zoo which is on our way home. The seal sanctuary is a great place to visit.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A pleasant place to spend a day; Cathedral magnificent, Castle well worth a visit, very interesting exhibition by local artists in the Usher Gallery. But walking around the town to get to these quite hard work for an oldie.Guest review byBob - 8.0

Boston has an amazing history with lot's of historic period...
Boston has an amazing history with lot's of historic period buildings. Unfortunately it is now full of young asylum seeking men hanging about in the centre of town. Lot's of the decent shops and many of the pubs have closed down. Such a shame because it could once again be beautiful ! Clear out the asylum seekers, create a sense of community and pump some investment back into the city !Guest review byRitchie RichUnited Kingdom - 6.0
We stayed at the Belton Hall Hotel, for four nights.
We stayed at the Belton Hall Hotel, for four nights. The first day we went to Belton House, which is one of the nicest National Trust properties that we've visited. As well as the house, it has extensive grounds, lovely gardens, and a conservatory and historic church to visit. It is good for children, with special activities laid on in summer, and a miniature Railway. It also has one of the largest National Trust bookshops we've seen, as well as the usual shop and café facilities. Grantham itself is a typical market town, with a reasonable range of shops, although like many market towns it has clearly suffered economically. However, the historic area around its magnificent church is lovely. The countryside around Grantham is lovely, and if you like visiting churches (as we do) you are very much spoiled for choice. Sleaford and Heckington were favourites.Guest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Louth is a small city with history, with lots of different restaurants. It's not too busy in terms of traffic, there is freeee parking available. We wanted a quiet family short break with dogs and the place was very nice. It's in the middle of the forest. There is no "Disco". There is a lot of RAF activity during the day if you are interestest in. The beach is not far and there are quiet one's and busy one's; it's up to you. We have been in the church in Louth and also on the tower, £3 per person. It's worth it and don't under estimate it !!Guest review byIngolfUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Not Much happens in this county.
Not Much happens in this county. I was there because of a business obligation. Most of the County is lovely unspoilt farmland . There are Tourist attractions but many only open at weekends - its not worth their while as there is little passing trade. Sleaford is awful for parking- a one way system and parking restrictions everywhere. It appears to be a town in decline- lots of Turkish Barbers and empty shop units. Aggresive signs everywhere about how large your fine will be if you contravene their parking regulations.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We really enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. The beach was a must for the grand kids. The sand was cleaned on a daily basis and was pleased to see that the sea quality was rated as excellent ( Blue flag ) so had no concerns with them going in. We did visit the "Beck" restaurant a couple of times which apart from a daily carvery it also had a great choice of food and the staff are excellent. Visited the Seal sanctuary which the grand kids enjoyed. We spent about 5 hours there. The cafe was also good for snacks /meal. Although our accommodation provided parking I noticed that there is plenty of car parks near the beach and on average charge £5.00/ day (need to exit by 9pm) which I thought was reasonable.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 6.0
