United StatesCottage Lodge was very comfortable and had excellent facilities. The breakfasts were excellent and the selections of breakfast meals were all enjoyable. The hotel was perfect for us as we could walk to the bike rental near the train station to pick up our bikes. As we did two days of biking, it worked out well. Having a designated car parking spot was nice as we always had a spot to park. From the hotel you can walk to the restaurants and pubs, no need to drive.

The charming location, with “wild” horses walking by, the hands on owner, the staff (big shout out to hands on Manager Lucy!), the charming dining room (open to the public 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch & dinner, with daily specials), the authentic English menu (including the Full English breakfast, which is included!), the friendly & attentive service, the cleanliness of the room & the dining room, the modern bathroom (walk-in shower) - everything made us want to extend our stay & return, so we highly recommend it to others! You will not be disappointed!

We enjoyed a morning swim in the pool which had a very Spanish/Greek feel to the surrounding area. The pool was at a perfect temperature and the chairs were handy for getting our son ready. Beautiful and relaxing so much history to explore and a must see the wild ponies pigs and deers along with other roaming wild life It’s definitely a places to go and has easy routes to other areas which are also worth visiting. We were disappointed that the pier ferry wasn't working but the pier and the train were very interesting - lots of plaques on the pier with interesting information and lots of inscriptions on the planks on the pier. The town was very nice - a surprising number of different shops in such a small area. The town centre and pier within very easy walking distance from the Boathouse hotel. Beaulieu is a lovely area and if you like horses and donkeys you will love it. The village i itself is very clean and pretty with lots of lovely places for coffee etc. All the people I met wee extremely friendly and helpful. The Lodge was beautifully appointed, spacious & decorated very tastefully. Extra large deck overlooking a wildlife lake with Duck & Swan food provided. Location was perfect to explore the New Forest and the facilities around the holiday village were awesome. It was a really wunderfull place from which we could visit all the spots at the amazing National Park New Forest. Hostess Linda was very kind, helpfull and she even took care of some breakfast for us. Next to the beautiful site it is very comfortable and complete. We certainly come back here! Nick and Alison were really helpful. There were clear details on possible places to visit or eat. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked. Breakfasts served on time, with lots of choice and was of good quality (sausages lovely!). Parking convenient. We were in the ‘Sheep’ room. There were other rooms eg Horse and Pig.
