Our first time at Woodlakes, will be the first of many. Clean, warm and cosy. The bed more really comfortable, shower and all running water was hot, and the sound of the road was non existent in the cabin. For three nights fishing in November it was absolute luxury. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and really helpful. Beautiful grounds and overall an absolute win.

Norwich is a great city to explore. As we had our granddaughters with us we booked a couple of trips: Seal Island with Bishop's Boats & Alpaca Trekking in Wells. The girls are 10 & 12 & really enjoyed the trips. As well as a visit to Primark & Cosmo Buffet!

Great Yarmouth was still busy (tourists on holiday) in September when I visited. My visit was after the children had returned to school and it was pleasant and easy to visit the sea front and use the attractions. The sea front and shopping areas where clean and overall my stay was pleasant. It is worth walking around and comparing the prices of food (fish and chips) for example had a big price difference depending where you were in the town.

There's literally nothing to do here.

There's literally nothing to do here. I had always been led to believe Kings Lynn is a quaint historical town/village – in some ways it is, but completely lacks personality. I only stayed in Kings Lynn because of a concert at the Sandringham Estate – if you haven't got a reason to be in Kings Lynn, don't bother.

Hunstanton is a great base for exploring Norfolk.

Hunstanton is a great base for exploring Norfolk. In itself you can wander the beach and promenade, enjoy the usual seaside amusements and shopping. Some great chip shops/restaurants and the usual gift shops and standard shopping. We stayed off the main season and found it nice and peaceful. The Esplanade Gardens are nice and well planted, and you get the usual (but fun) crazy golf snd pitch and putt. There is a Sainsbury's and Tesco if required, and the centre isn't that big so easy to get around. There is more to do here, but we travelled out each day so didn't get the time as it was a short break, but we would definitely come back. The greatest point it has is being west facing, and when the weather is right you get fantastic sunsets over the sea. These are a pure joy to sit and watch.

Sheringham is a lovely quiet seaside town not heaving with nighclubs or noisy bars. I really enjoyed walking along the Coastal path to Cromer and back via the beaches. There are Coastal buses via Sheringham to other destinations if needed. There are lots of interesting little shops to browse around. Plenty of fish and chip shops/cafes/places to get coffees, ice cream etc. Enjoyed the Steam train experience and museums.

Excellent range of independent shops and eateries. Well placed for visits to all local attractions both inland and on the coast. A go-to shop is definitely Bakers and Larners who sell anything from a range cooker to a packet of seeds. We sampled delicious eggs benedict and coffee in the cafe. There are many boutiques to suit all pockets, a bookshop and bakers. Although we didn’t visit, the two pubs had good menus posted outside.

Hemsby beach is lovely and sandy. The sea was clearer than i thought it would be. I especially liked that when the tide goes out it leaves alittle sea section on the beach so little ones can play in it and be watched without worrying about the tide taking them out. Lovely shops and food as well. The is a nice go kart track as well for all the family to enjoy and alittle fair ground part as well. Not overly expensive either
