The Town has a good many shops selling outdoor clothing, a number of cafes and hotel/restaurants. A small bakers but not a decent handy supermarket if you are self catering. Take your time exploring the town but don't expect too much. Good service and good food at the nearby Swallow Falls Inn. The Swallow Falls themselves are disappointingGuest review byphilipUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Conwy is a busy friendly town.
Conwy is a busy friendly town. It has lovely shops, delicatessen, pubs, cafes and restaurants. The harbour is at the bottom end of the High Street where you will find the smallest house and river cruises. There is a lovely coastal walk to the marina from the harbour. The railway station and bus services are excellent.Guest review byPamelaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved exploring the interesting and quirky areas of the village and investigating its history. A very thought provoking place to visit! The accommodation added to this and so did the kindness of all of the staff, who were very helpful as I had never visited Portmerion before.Guest review byLauraUnited Kingdom - 6.0

A small, compact city that's a little run-down and in need of some government cash to bring more people in. We've never been in such a quiet city centre on a Saturday night; plenty of pubs, not enough people! So many Turkish barbers, so few decent restaurants...and no hotels! Plenty of take-out eateries, but that's not what tourists need! Lovely setting, Welsh government: you're missing out on tourism in Bangor, so splash the cash and glam it up...decent restaurants, a couple of hotels and a modern bar or two. The city should be very grateful for the Black Bull, JD Wetherspoon's, the only busy pub in town!Guest review byAnnetteUnited Kingdom - 8.0
This trip is ideal for families.
This trip is ideal for families. There are lots of iconic breathtaking views and historical sites. Be prepared for long walks and climbing many steps around the mountains. Finding Halal food is hard but I would recommend ‘ The best kebab & pizza house’ the food was great especially the burgers! There is a nearby retail park with shopping outlets such as M&S, TKmaxx, boots, and Superdrug. There is also a local Tesco for a quick grab and go! Marion Resort & Spa offers a unique experience of a short relaxfull lodge stay with swimming facilities! Travelling in August was best as the weather was lovely and cool temperatures were perfect to have fun and tour. There is a nearby Pizza Hut close to Sainsburys. The manager there was very kind and gave us a fantastic deal with a few extras. Really appreciated that so Thank you! Take your car if you have one as the views are amazing and you can travel at your own convenience.Guest review byZohraUnited Kingdom
