It was nice that they delivered clementines and your choice of newspaper to your room every day. We had afternoon tea and we couldn't recommend it more. Killingworth Castle

Hotel in Woodstock

Dating back to 1637, this coaching inn is located on the ancient Worcester to London road (B4027), on the edge of picturesque Wootton village, just 2 miles from Woodstock. We stayed on the second floor wing of the newer addition, which I believe may have been converted from a barn. The room was medium size, designed to look rustic, but very clean and quaint. A very short driving distance to Woodstock, but unable to find a parking space there while going out for dinner. Went to one of the nearby market towns in the Cotswalds instead. Blenheim Place is nearby, as is Oxford and the Silverstone race track. Very convenient for touring the attractions in this region.
