The attention to detail in the infrastructure and hospitality. A hundred year old property that is being maintained so well - retaining the old world charm with modern facilities. The quality and variety of food and drinks. Every staff member we interacted with contributed to making our stay exceptional.

Our stay was fantastic. Very friendly with our little dog too. Only thing we minded was the mattress, which wasn't very comfortable for us because it was too soft. But definitely not a deal breaker. Definitely recommend!

We had to book an impromptu stay because my son caught a stomach bug on a tour to the highlands. Big Karen was amazingly helpful and kind through it all. She let us check in early, gave directions to different places in town, and provided us with tons of extra linens. The rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend the Acarsaid to anyone staying in Pitlochry.

Crieff is a perfect base for getting out and about to surrounding places of interest. Definitely need a car to travel. The high street pavements are really in need of repairs so we had to be vigilant when walking through town. Not great for people with walking disabilities. Very hilly too.The Ghurcah Indian restaurant was excellent ,,value for money with huge portions that we had to take with us. Quality was amazing.

Nestled amongst the mountains with paths and tracks leading all over what’s not to like? Sadly, the general facilities here have gone. No shop for example. One place did have a sign out for coffee, but there could be an opportunity here for someone. Worth climbing up the Cateran Trail heading south to get stunning views looking down on the village. Also visit the stone circle, old bridge and the church. Just soak up the atmosphere!
