We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality we received during our stay. The location was breathtaking, the view was truly unforgettable, and the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel exceeded our expectations. Special thanks to the entire staff for making our stay memorable. We’d like to extend our sincere appreciation to: • Sarah and Jesica for their kindness and patience — we truly apologize for all our many questions! • Lee for his cheerful spirit and warm welcome. • Stuart, Jhonni, and Pranav for their friendliness and attentiveness. • All the HK team, especially Gari and Cara, for their great work behind the scenes. • The kitchen chefs — Matthew, Kieran, Noel, and Geri — for the delicious meals we enjoyed. • CHRIS from the kitchen KP team for supporting the amazing dining experience. Your entire team made our stay truly special, and we are grateful for the experience. Warmest regards, Hanan and family

what a magnificent hotel. every room is different. all have so much character. this old building feels a bit like hogwarts. I am sure some of the stairs moved, and some of the pictures talked. we spend hours roaming around the hotel looking for hidden gems like the reading room and even the gym (not really a gem but it was fun looking for it). breakfast is a bit pricey for what you get but the room and the buffet are beautiful. staff is amazing, funny, smart, nice and professional. I would definitely come back. hopefully soon.

Everything. The room was beautiful and very comfortable with high-end linens and all the comforts one would require. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was beyond our expectations. We sat and had a drink in the bar and enjoyed our conversations with the bartender as well.

    Buildings in need of whitewash.

Buildings in need of whitewash. Gorgeous architecture but the drunkards in the streets and the lack of sanitation ( rubbish lying around ) brings the city down. There’s a feeling they could be great but can’t be bothered. People seem to lack ambition or direction. Super wealthy living there behind closed doors. Gorgeous indoor spaces, but only accessible to people with money. Needs a lot of work to become a world city which is a shame considering that after Liverpool it was the 2nd wealthiest city in the uk at one point.

Very friendly people. Spoke to several other visitors who were also enjoying their stay. Several good eating places and good variety of shops. Excellent transport choices from local buses, trains and taxis. Good ferry trips at a reasonable price. Staff in shops and restaurants have a very helpful and polite attitude and seem to be happy in their jobs.

Paisley is a beautiful town with so much culture and history. It is a university town, a cathedral town and a town with beautiful buildings and a great heritage. The Paisley pattern was milled in the town of Paisley, therefore the name, Paisley pattern, The public transportation is excellent and the train station is right in the center of town, well you can take a train into Glasgow in 10 minutes and have access to trains going all over Scotland and the UK. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful place.

Nothing to do with the location ..but..the bus from Buchanan bus station dropped us off on the outskirts of Balloch on a very busy duel carriageway..which took ages to cross safely..why don't they terminate in Balloch's own bus station...much safer as we had to walk 15 mins to get to our accomodation in rough tarain... I'd hate to think of elderly people having to endure this ... shocked to be honest...nothing to do will The Tillie Inn..maybe something should be changed to prevent this.as it has put me off getting the bus...

We came to visit Ayr racecourse as horse racing enthusiasts.

We came to visit Ayr racecourse as horse racing enthusiasts. The actual course is fine but the buildings are dreadfully run down and facilities poor. From the outside it hardly open and given the time of year there was nothing to entice families off the beach. Poor racecourse management compared to many others we've been to. The town was also rather run down and I can think of no reason to return.

Amazing part of the country with wonderful scenery. Most staff are extremely pleasant and friendly, but not all. Arrochar is a bit of a one horse town, although it's a great base for touring some amazing parts of the country. It's a very relaxing village with a lovely walk along the lochside.

    The entire location is stunning.

The entire location is stunning. Be prepared for lots of photos. Just walk along the row of shops, get some fish and chips or an ice cream and enjoy the view. Some accommodation places are high up on the hill so if mobility is a problem then recommend down on waterfront level. Most accommodations have rooms up stairs as well. I would return again. Tobermory is just beautiful.
