Of course there is the football stadium, a very fine sight...
Of course there is the football stadium, a very fine sight now that is has been rejuvenated and the two statues of Ramsey and Robson (outside and a reminder that no other club has provided England with two international managers straight from domestic success, one even managed the World Cup winning team) as well as that of Kevin Beattie add to the sense of honour. Beyond that there is the modest but impressive splendour of Christchurch Mansion set in the verdant Christchurch Park, historic buildings like The Ancient House with its characterful pargeting, the much improved dockside area and residents who usually take time to get to know but are worth the effort. In short, it's like a human version of Norwich...Guest review byOldvelle VagueUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lowestof is a nice place to visit, and even in August it was not very busy at all. The beaches there are really good for families and children as the sand is very clean. Not too sure about swimming in the North Sea, but some brave souls did !. Good selection of places to eat, and a great surprise was finding a Wimpy - Best burgers ever ;-)Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A trip to the docks is a must see. The promenade is a splendid walk & the gardens are lovely to walk through & just to sit in & watch the world go by. We always must have a trip to the Pinsa & Pasta restaurant on the front & also the fish & chip restaurant opposite the pier.Guest review byGwenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It's a small town so easy to navigate. Lots of restaurants and pubs but a bit pricey. Lovely selection of shops, especially independent ones. Good base for exploring the area eg Dunwich, Southwold, Orford and Snape. Beach was shingle which was disappointing but it was clean.Guest review byAmanda - 10.0
