Located in the heart of Surrey, The Lodge @ Kingswood offers hotel accommodations within the grounds of a championship golf course. Very nicely decorated and comfy room with sitting area and nice view of forested area. I picked the hotel based on having easy car access to Gatwick, but was pleasantly surprised just how great of a place it was to stay. Will surely stay again when in area.

What an amazing gem of a hotel. I happened upon the Aviator while looking for somewhere to stay for the British Motor Show. The room was incredible, very clean and stylish (which goes for the whole hotel). The staff were lovely. They upgraded us to a studio room so we could have early check-in, which was so very kind.

Lovely city and surroundings
Guildfod is a charming little city. Have a brunch there in one of the older traditionnal cafés. The countryside is beautiful, so it is worth having a car and drive around. I recommend Newlands Corner, a beautiful spot for sightseing, walking ( many trails start from there) or picnic. It has great views on the Surrey Hills.

Staines is 35 minutes by train outside London.
Staines is 35 minutes by train outside London. It is a convenient location for visiting Surrey tourism spots such as Legoland, Windsor Castle and Runnymede. Also a short train ride from Royal Kew Gardens and a short taxi ride from the beautiful Savil Garden. Runnymede is also nearby, site of the signing of the Magna Carta and an interesting half-day trip. The park also includes a memorial to President Kennedy. The town itself is emerging as a bedroom community to London. Although not terribly picturesque, it has all the amenities, including an easy bus ride to Heathrow for under £5. The Swan is reason enough to visit. Such a great pub and hotel.

The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold choices. Orange and apple juice were both very watery, but the assistant set out to rectify the problem as soon as she was made aware of it. All staff were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The location is not only great for the races, it also serves as a good base for visiting Surrey and the south east counties as well as close proximity to London.

Nice layout with pool, gym, bar, restaurant. Took advantage of a great buffet dinner and the next morning a buffet breakfast. The staff were superb - with a shout out to the many easy going Aussie expats working there.

The hotel offered a good, quiet stay for one night. Its location is lovely. It is quite rare to be by a lake in Surrey. The room was quite good, Not stunning but no problems either. The dinner was quite good as well. The overall score of 8 on this site seems to me to capture the place quite well. I should also say that there are some lovely walks nearby, beautiful heath land with the heather in full flower.

I have stayed here several times and as a location for the work I do it is perfect with easy access to main roads in 4 mins without being in a budget hotel next to a petrol station/ motorway The car park has no height restriction for vans and tall vehicles (which is a problem elsewhere in Surrey) Late check-in is also not an issue (which again is a problem elsewhere I have tried)

Simple checking in and out process. Rooms well equipped with tea making facilities and Nespresso. Comfy beds. The hotel is also a steakhouse which serves brilliant food. Would stay again.

Larger than expected hotel, it was like a labyrinth with corridors and stairs going in all directions, I even got lost going upstairs when I should of gone along a corridor then upstairs, there were signs ! Lovely original features. We had a lovely view (over the car park) of the Surrey Hills. Good size room Shower was good.
