This hotel has recently reopened and is absolutely immaculate! No expense spared in quality of decor and furnishings in the room and around the hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking the grounds. Really peaceful setting and in easy reach of Warwick and Leamington. The on-site pub serves good quality food in a relaxed environment and the staff in the hotel were super friendly and professional and very welcoming. We will undoubtedly stay here again.

The property is very pretty. It is an active restaurant, so be prepared for the that. The rooms are only a convenience, not their primary service. That being said, the rooms are very nicely appointed. We did have dinner and breakfast on site and both were excellent.

I didn't get the names of the lads on reception and at the bar during the night - but all of them were absolutely superb. Informative and also great banter. Staff tending to everything in the morning were also absolutely lovely. Never ever had an issue with any of the staff here. First time I've stayed for breakfast though - got my money's worth. Tasty food, decent variety.

Stratford-upon-Avon is a lovely picturesque town, perfect for a short break, with many interesting places within easy reach nearby. The Shakespeare properties are well worth visiting and the open top hop on and off tour bus with commentary is a good way to get around, especially for Anne Hathaway's Cottage abit further out. Many historic attractions, plenty of eateries, shops, pubs and riverside waljs/boat trips. Would definitely recommend!

Warwick Castle was excellent if a little expensive to visit.

Warwick Castle was excellent if a little expensive to visit. There were several tour guides scheduled which you could simply join at no extra cost. Paid extra to do the dungeon tour which was great fun but we were disappointed that they subsequently wanted to charge a lot extra for copies of the photos they took of us on entering, we declined! There are lots of good food outlets, we particularly enjoyed our meal in Mexicanos on Jury Street. The rest of the town has many historic buildings, we needed longer to explore and hope to revisit soon.

Kenilworth Castle is a wonderful place to visit, and I would recommend it to anyone. Likewise Kenilworth itself - there is not much left of the Abbey, but it is definitely worth a stroll through the well-kept and tranquil grounds. The shopping area is well served with a large variety of shops, and plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Another thing I noticed was that there are lots of benches where one can stop to rest.

Rugby is a pretty little town with some history. Most shopping is now in small retail estates on the outskirts, allowing for larger premises and stock. This means the towh centre has small cosy cafes drinking holes and a smattering of charity shops.

I stayed one night at this hotel, and unfortunately, the room I had booked was supposed to have large windows. However, when I checked in, I was given an attic room with very small triangular windows. The room was extremely hot throughout the night, and the air conditioning was not working. I asked the reception for help, but they told me that the air conditioning was broken and could not be fixed, and that my room did not have large windows also ther is no ben bag , im not sure how expensive is

    Service was not good .

Service was not good . We waited long for check in and 3 times had to use my card as the Internet service was bad at reception and kept declining. Room was smelly and pillows were not comfy and old . No extra pillows provided in the room. At breakfast time waited ages for someone to book us but no one available so we went in to the dinning area . Then a staff member rudely asked what room we are in ! Explained no one was at the front desk so came in after waiting ages and also seen other couples face the same thing during breakfast time . The name of the hotel and what we seen advertised was not the same expectation.
