Lovely view, staff exceptional from breakfast servers to reception to rooms made up daily. They were also Professional, fun and informative. It's a truly beautiful place with a unique interior design that we loved. Findig our room was like climbing up the stairs in a maze (in a good way) and made us feel as if we were staying in a castle. The room was clean, with surprise Kit-Kat bars and Cadbury hot chocolate powder on the tea table. The bed was big and comfy, bathroom shower excellent with two shower heads. Staff was really nice and helpful (e.g. carrying my luggage to our room). We loved the little garden in the back and the location is also perfect, in a quiet area but ten minutes on foot from the city centre. We appreciated that at breakfast, the self-service table was monitored and restacked regularly. If we return to York, we would love to book this place again.

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived right until we left. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room beautifully furnished , breakfast so tasty with a varied breakfast menu. We had a family dinner which was delicious. Would highly recommended this hotel/ restaurant/ bar.

    So much to see and learn in York.

    So much to see and learn in York. If you love learning about history, York will not Disappoint. we did the jorvik viking centre and it was fabulous. Cliffton Tower was worth the visit, Great views from the top for all the photo lovers. we got rained out on one day, so we didn't get to do everything we wanted. Hope to make it back one day.

    the location, price, breakfast was good. Let down by the parking fee @ £20, room small, toiletries very cheap, used my own. Went for a funeral so didn't look around, but went to the city center for food as more choice for Gluten Free.

    We only visited the city for a music venue for 1 day but should have stayed longer to explore what the city had to offer. Found the hotel staff and city people really friendly and helpful, especially regarding transportation around the city. Thank You :)

    Excellent modern appointments, access by code, lift to upper floors. Can be very warm on hotter days. Comfortable, secure, clean and good facilities. Excellent communication. Access details on the morning of arrival. Parking could be an issue but various car parks available nearby for a fee. Short stroll from the road to the apartments so may hinder those with mobility issues and luggage to bring. Would certainly consider again.

    Bradford is a city from the past, run down whilst attempting to be modern, too many tastes to please... Having said all that it is my CITY, I was born in a Bradford suburb went to school there and love it as the place of my birth and childhood. It used to be a proud City now it is a shadow of its former past. Why it can be considered as a 'City of culture' is beyond me... All its history and magnificence is compromised all its character has been replaced by extremist ideologies that DO NOT WORK in harmony and certainly are not on the same page. INCLUSIVITY intentions RESULTS IN EXCLUSIVITY in reality... Revisit history where you can, the Town hall is a very fine building, St Georges Hall and the Alhambra are steeped in history and grand days. The Midland Hotel and Great Victoria need returning to their splendid past, alas as with most things years of damage perhaps means that is impossible. What next 'decent public transport in and out of the city centre would certainly help!!!!

    Easy to find clean and friendly. Super dog friendly but could have done with a bit of a dog run or enclosed garden. Great parking and basic menu. Not really a holiday destination but a fab overnighter.

    Excellent walk around the civic area and ebjoyed the cathedral edp the childrens art on what makes fir a good life Hepworth Gallery was superb and would return Rspb reserve in nearby Castleford was a wonderful day out We would love to have seen the sculpture park but was sadly closed on Monday We will be back! Oh and we had a wondeful Turkush meal nearby

    I have visited Bridlington many times (over 25 years).

    I have visited Bridlington many times (over 25 years). I usually have an annual golf trip with many great local courses. People are friendly there is plenty to do and you can walk every where, no need for public transport. Will be there again next year.
