- From $233.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 70 reviewsWonderful hotel in Sisimiut, the first hotel when you come off the Arctic Circle Trail (coming from Kangerlussuaq). They have great hiker deals; and if you plan to hike from Sisimiut to Kangerlussuaq and want to buy gas canisters, check out first their box 'from guest to guest' with gas cannisters. There were many full/almost full canisters! The staff (reception and restaurant) are fabulous: very helpful and friendly, and they truly make a difference. The rooms were very comfortable (with bath products from Rituals and shoe dryers - 2 things I truly appreciated after the ACT). The breakfast buffet was great and dinner was always delicious. Despite the restaurant sometimes being quite full, there was never a wait. Loved our stay ❤️Guest review byBrunoUnited States
- From $231.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 44 reviewsLovely, very clean place. Well located just up from the ferry piers. Associated with the Hotel Narsaq, so good breakfast there if part of your rate. And staff there always willing to help with questions, etc. Plenty warm, comfortable beds, big windows, pleasant common area, including nice wood deck with view when weather is favorable. Well equipped kitchen.Guest review byRJUnited States

Nuuk is so friendly and walkable.
Nuuk is so friendly and walkable. So much to see that is accessible on foot, yet a boat tour on the fjord is a must. Museums, shopping, history, nature, cuisine, and culture -- Nuuk has it all. And communication with visitors is not a big problem since most residents speak adequate English.Guest review byDarrylUnited States - 10.0

It is likely that during Disco bay icefjiord experience you'll see the wales, so a separate trip to watch wales may not be needed. The icefiord remains the most impressive thing to see from a walking distance and also from a boat. Eqi glacier is nice, but less impressive and takes a long time to go there. Icefiord center is an interesting site to visit, as you'll pass the sledge dog keeping site along the way. Do not touch or try to intervene with digs, as this my end lethaly for... them. I found the place terrible for dogs... and any animals in general, as they are kept on chain. However, it is par of the culture and that's something interesting to see.Guest review byIlzePortugal - 8.0

I would think twice about going back too Nuuk becasue of the issues they have with their airport. It was closed to all international flights becasue of the Danish aviation department not being satisfied with teir seciroty screening. My flight was just canceled and had no idesa when the airport was gfoing to open again to International flights. I would give them a few years to get things sorted out before I ever went back. Such a shame because its absolutley beautiful and the people are so friendly.Guest review byChris RyanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There are plenty of companies to book boat tours, whale watching etc, but we felt inclined to go with the local tour operators, who deserve the business, and really do know so much about the area and how to respect the wildlife. Getting around was easy, as it's a small town, taxis aplenty too. We didn't eat out as we were self-catering. Two good supermarkets in the high street. One gripe though is the amount of litter, sometimes the bins were overflowing. I would suggest a town litter pick occasion!Guest review byIngridUnited Kingdom - 8.0

First, you need to do some research about Nuuk so you know what to expect. Overall, we enjoyed our trip quite a lot. It’s long travel from California to NEw York than to Nuuk. Once landed, we took taxi to hotel, had simple dinner near by. Then explored Nuuk downtown and had good lunch and dinner. We took few tours and all are good and overall what we expected.Guest review byKallenUnited States - 10.0
Ilullisat is absolutely worthy in a trip to Greenland.
Ilullisat is absolutely worthy in a trip to Greenland. We have never seen such huge icebers. There are good options to trail in the area (Yellow Trail is the easiest one although is not such easy as it may seen). You move everywhere walking although taxi is not an expensive option. "I love Ilullisat tours" offers very good boat tours. Hangout Bistro is a restaurant with good options for dinner or lunch.Guest review byEduardoSpain
